Here I sit with a half complete job and no response to text messages nor phone voicemails. Additionally, promised dates I have adjusted my schedule to accommodate transpire with literally no one coming nor communicating. Not only did they have the best price, they recycled the asphalt instead of charging $2500+ like the other 4 well-known companies wanted in order to dump the asphalt in a landfill. Every employee who worked on the project--12 in all--was courteous and careful. To add a border along my flowerbed, they carefully removed 75 tulip bulbs and replanted them in the same pattern when they finished. The driveway is beautiful and often drew a crowd of neighbors to watch. Two years later people still comment on it when they see me outside. It helped alleviate the flooding problem for me because it was perfectly pitched. Cruz Leon, the owner, was there daily not only to supervise but to work. I took 54 photographs of the process because I was so impressed with their care and perfection. They even fixed a paver sidewalk someone else had done and replaced 3 sections of public sidewalk for less money than my city wanted me to pay for half of each section. By far, the best, most thoughtful, courteous, and competent company I've ever hired for any of the homes I have owned. If I could think of another project, I would hire them in a minute because they were actually fun to have working here.

His crew came out promptly and power washed the patio. Paul came out, the very next day, and repaired the unsecured step very well. He also filled in the brick pavers with sand and sealer. THE PROBLEM - he used play sand, an inferior sand, instead of polymeric sand. Without knowing this, I paid him the balance of the $1200 that day, October 2016. Within days, the sand washed away, so Paul promised that he would come out again in the spring to reseal the patio. I contacted him repeatedly and he finally said he would be out - that was June 2017, but he never showed. I have been again contacting him this spring, with no response at all. I am now giving up, April 2018, and going to write it off as my mistake for falling for a great salesman and not checking the Yelp reviews!

He wanted to know what we wanted, what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend. We told him about how we were going to use the space and what we wanted and gave him our budget. Afterwards we talked about modern trends and what designs are in/out, how we wanted to place everything. Then off he went with the rest of the team to start designing it after a small down payment. He asked about budget and we talked about how much it might cost, but of course, the final bill could vary depending on the design. A few weeks later, we had another appointment where he showed us the design and it was amazing. They really sat down and listened to what we wanted because it looked amazing. The budget was completely out of our range.. granted, we knew our budget was on the low side of things, but they were willing to work with us to make this affordable. Finally, our day arrived. We got a call the night before that they were arriving in the morning to get started. During the process, the team were good...i would give them a 4.5/5 for a few minor things.They did talk to us a few times but I wish we were updated better. They were good about protecting our lawn even though some areas did suffer. Luckily (For us and them), our backyard had nothing out there. It was just bare land with green-ish grass. From start to finish, they were done in a week. We waited an extra day for another group of guys to show up to set up the firepit and show us how to use it. They were in and out fairly quickly. In the end, we got a beautiful patio. One section to entertain/eat. The other area is for the firepit and grill. Due to the design, they both feel separate from each other. We did find some minor damages that the team did not let me know or Gene. But he is going out of his way to making it right and I appreciate it. Ive had some neighbors stop by to marvel at the patio.
