I should not have paid in full. I figured that this smaller job would be completed and I wouldn't have to worry about sending the rest of the check. A portion of my second project was started, the demolition. The project has never been completed and I get excuse after excuse about why it hasn't been completed. "My truck is broken", "I was very busy" etc. etc. I gave the benefit of the doubt over the winter because obviously, you can't do yardwork with snow. It has now been 11 months and I have a hideous looking section of my yard that is unusable because the demolition has not been repaired. NEVER pay in full and do NOT hire f you need a project completed quickly. Great for basic lawn service. I hope I get my project completed.

They changed the project start and end dates three times, each time offering a different excuse. After multiple follow-ups, they finally started the job but failed to complete it as agreed. They requested a deposit upfront, which I unfortunately paid. After that, they stopped showing up and continued to make excuses without finishing the work. In conclusion, I strongly advise against hiring this company. Never pay a deposit to any contractor until the project is completed to your satisfaction.

We did have some "wants" on our list which included a natural gas firepit, natural gas line for grill, seating for ~6-8 people, and enough room for entertain with some food, drinks, and a nice place to relax. From the start to the finish, Grant and Power was completely different than the other companies. Other locations just met you outside, what you wanted, and how big. Then we got a quote. However, when I contacted Grant and Powers, they started out with an email with some essential information like their insurance, a pamphlet and other information to get us started. We talked about what we were looking and then waited for our appointment Our appointment was different. Instead of going outside and talking about size... Gene sat us down to talk to us. He wanted to know what we wanted, what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend. We told him about how we were going to use the space and what we wanted and gave him our budget. Afterwards we talked about modern trends and what designs are in/out, how we wanted to place everything. Then off he went with the rest of the team to start designing it after a small down payment. He asked about budget and we talked about how much it might cost, but of course, the final bill could vary depending on the design. A few weeks later, we had another appointment where he showed us the design and it was amazing. They really sat down and listened to what we wanted because it looked amazing. The budget was completely out of our range.. granted, we knew our budget was on the low side of things, but they were willing to work with us to make this affordable. Finally, our day arrived. We got a call the night before that they were arriving in the morning to get started. During the process, the team were good...i would give them a 4.5/5 for a few minor things.They did talk to us a few times but I wish we were updated better. They were good about protecting our lawn even though some areas did suffer. Luckily (For us and them), our backyard had nothing out there. It was just bare land with green-ish grass. From start to finish, they were done in a week. We waited an extra day for another group of guys to show up to set up the firepit and show us how to use it. They were in and out fairly quickly. In the end, we got a beautiful patio. One section to entertain/eat. The other area is for the firepit and grill. Due to the design, they both feel separate from each other. We did find some minor damages that the team did not let me know or Gene. But he is going out of his way to making it right and I appreciate it. Ive had some neighbors stop by to marvel at the patio. Overall, if I were to ever move away, I would go back to this company to design a beautiful space again. I would completely recommend this company if you are looking for the same.

Scheduling was easy, they got right to work. When there were issues, Shawn was in touch immediately and the issues were resolved often before we even realized they existed. The patio and retaining wall are gorgeous! The steps out to the yard, and the stoop from the house are a HUGE improvement over what we had before, and all done for a very reasonable price, especially since we did shop around. He was very knowledgeable and during our discussion, you can tell he knew what he was talking about. So many horror stories about white hazes and issues from OTHER companies... Greg knew why that happened and explained how their process along with the product they use is not going to be an issue. It isn't. Their crew showed up again, on time and power washed my pavers to remove dirt and the existing sand. The next day it was supposed to be sealed but, when they showed up it was too wet from the wash so, they returned the next day! They finished the job and it is beautiful. Josh was great and helped me move furniture out of the way of the washing process AND, worked with the mowers when they arrived to make sure they did not throw grass on the newly sealed pavers. He could have gone straight home from the many jobs he has done today, but he stopped on the way to do my driveway. Yes. i know you're saying I've done business with him for years, but this is the way Edy works. Last year I had him seal several cracks in the driveway as well as the sealcoating. He warned me that the crack filling material might melt in the hot Summer sun, which parts of it did. I only had to be careful about running over the material until it cooled. Small price to pay for a sealed driveway against the weather. Edy's work is top-notch. IF you have a problem with your driveway repairs, call Edy first. Allow him to "make it right". I was appalled by finding out there was a leak due to an improper installed vent that was already…read morehere when we moved in. Carlos from Canga roofing came out and identified the problem in a matter of minutes, and also discovered a 2nd vent was improperly installed. He showed me pictures and explained the metal ring around the shingles was supposed to be underneath the shingles, but they left it on top. I was horrified. The very next day someone else came by and fixed the problem on the roof but also treated the damp wood inside the attic where the moisture stains are. I have to say my anxiety got the better of me but will certainly call Canga again with future roof issues as well as recommend to my coworkers, family and friends. I can't say it enough, don't wait any longer if you have a roofing issue, even if you are not sure. One more note, I was afraid I was going to be talked into getting a whole new roof, but Carlos explained that I have at least 5 years of roof life left! Who does that???
