AVOID! I called on Monday, two days after my mother passed. I explained that the executor of the will is suspected of theft so he should be the last individual involved with my mother's will. I simply needed a copy to which I am entitled as next of kin. She wasted the entire workweek with excuse after excuse. First she needed to confirm I am named in the will. Then, after sharing that I had retained an attorney to guide me through this next process, she instructed me she can release the will, but only to him. When he emailed she responded that she could not confirm that he was my attorney and therefore was not willing to share the will with him. This is the back-and-forth game she played with me all week. I was very clear that I needed the will by Friday. If she had no intention of providing the it, she shouldn't have allowed me to waste an entire week waiting on her excuses. I now find myself in the exact position I was trying to avoid, and I owe it all to Elga. Do yourself a favor and save your sanity, do not retain Elga. You will simply waste your time, money, and patience. read more
