I am a globetrotter and I understand reservations are preferred but when you travel it is impossible to do reservations unless it is a super fancy restaurant and you planned it way ahead of time. I do not normally get that attitude and restaurants are generally open to making space for new customers or tourists but not this one, anyways lesson learnt!!!

To be honest, we were a bit liberal with the bubblies and wine paring throughout the meal... I cannot recite every single ingredient in the 4 courses I was served. But I can say in full confidence that every dish, every bite, contained fresh and perfectly cooked ingredients drizzled with sauces and garnishes that balance, expand and deepen the flavor. I am definitely looking forward to return for dinner one day. Note: "Muss(t)" make reservation - as the locals would say.

Here's how it works: (01) You receive six .3 L glasses filled with various beer styles, light to dark. You also receive a sheet of paper with a list of over a dozen beer styles. (02) Match the styles you're drinking with the styles listed on the paper. This may require careful thinking, and there is no time limit. (03) At the bottom of the paper is another six styles of beer. You must rank the beers by their strength of ABV's. (04) Once the beer has been drunk and both sections filled out, hand your test to your waitress. (05) Your waitress will grade your test, and if you've shown your best beer knowledge, you will be awarded your beer diploma! While you're testing, you're going to need brain food. May I suggest the curry wurst and spaetzle? I love Eichbaum's version of their spaetzle, as it includes cheese and onion.
