Fast forward i just called and they denied my application because i have 3 bad debts that where not paid. (school loans that are deferred, and 2 old 2016 credit cards) please be aware that they never tell you that upon applying. So if you have any debt that you have not paid dont waste your time. They dont want you to have ANY NEGATIVE debt. I read other reviews about the place and i went against what i read and maybe i should have. You can hear everything through the walls as they are paper thin, even a cough from your neighbor sounds like they're standing in your living room. The management office is unbelievably rude, especially the AA woman. My dishwasher flooded and the water was up to my ankles, trying to get maintenance out to your apartment is a joke. If you complain to management they start doing spiteful things such as sending packages away, even going as far as writing up false noise complaints. The reason I know they're false is because the complaints didn't start until 3 years after I lived there and my neighbors assured me that they never complained or heard any noise (outside of standard living) coming from my apartment. There isn't many up to date rental properties in highland but I promise this place is NOT worth it.

No kind of relief even with the windows open. it's not warm enough for an AC unit to be put in and I wouldn't trust putting one in as I live in the garden unit. I have 2 small children and the fact that they know this, didn't deter them from turning up the heat for no good reason and having it run continuously day and night. there are other children in this building. i have not been to sleep since last night. the heat is unbearable. someone needs to handle this immediately before I contact the city about this.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. - the rent increased every year (3-years) - the carpet in the corridor smells like animals due to dog urination - you have to shovel snow around your car and out to the street in the parking lot - your car and your guest car will get towed if you do not have a visitor tag - make sure you use their janitors to clean the carpet when you move because you will be charged for the cleaning. I had Stanley Carpet Cleaner come clean - provided the receipt and was still charged for carpet cleaning. Take many pictures before you move in and after you move out. When I first moved in you could see the spackle on the walls from holes. I never put a nail in the walls - never put a picture on the wall yet I received a bill as though I had nails & picture on the wall throughout the apartment. They only charge a move in fee and not a security deposit but they get the money they didn't get once you move out. My recommendations is to try another location and let this be you last resort and do not stay long.

It has to be unsafe to live there bc of all the feces, mold, and infestations of flees, bed bugs and roaches they keep having, this is why they exterminate every 3 months. They let only people they know have special privileges. Cars are always being broken into every other day, your neighbors walk their dogs in front of your house to poop and they just leave it there so when they cut the grass every week poop is just being cut up and flying everywhere smh! It's a rowdy family of people that lives for bullshit so pray they're not your neighbors but it's a lot of them. Security is definitely gonna harass you while criminals come over there and get away with everything! If you're okay with all of those things then this is definitely the perfect place for you!
