Horrible place to eat.!!! rude people! bad customer service and the food has no flavor at all. stay away from this hell hole!

I am no sushi connoisseur (I used to think the day-old grocery store variety was as good as it gets) but having eaten at Dynamite, I've lost my taste for crappy sushi. If the only thing I eat for the rest of my life is Hudson maki, Alaskan maki and Diane's maki I will die happy. The bbq eel is amazing and I was pretty fond of the tuna, too. Four stars because it takes longer to get your order than you would think it should (I know it's all handmade to order but it'd be nice if they were to bring dishes out together) and I don't really like rubbing elbows with the guy next to me, especially when there are other open tables. read more

I went this past evening around 7pm for dinner with a few of my buddies because we saw that this restaurant had good ratings. The atmosphere was very nice for what I expected. The outside appears a bit plain especially being located in a small plaza but the interior is very comfortable and eye-catching. They had a comfy sushi bar and tables suited for small parties. I ordered the Oolong Hot Tea (Korean, Unsweetened) for a drink and this was my first time trying a different tea but I was impressed; it was very tasty and soothing. My friends and I ordered two large rolls (Mark's Maki & Ho Maki No. 2) which included "10-12 pieces" each. The sushi wasn't incredible but it was definitely good. It was what I expected for it's size/popularity. I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgoki and got a side of Hot & Sour soup with it. I was actually very disappointed with the hot and sour soup. Typically, I expect the standard hot and sour soup I'd get from Chinese restaurants but this was very different. If I could compare it to anything, I'd compare it to broth from instant noodles with soy sauce, sriracha hot sauce, corn, peas, tofu and eggs. That is EXACTLY what it tasted like so if you've ever had what I just listed, expect that. I like the broth though so it was still good. My bibimbap arrived on a sizzling hot plate and the waitress was kind enough to give me directions on how to eat it. (Telling me to stir it around and add the gingersauce/hot sauce to it so the rice doesn't overcook at the bottom) She could've assumed just because I was Asian to let me off (I already know how to eat bibimbap) but she treated me like anyone else which was IMPRESSIVE. The service was very satisfying and the bill came out to a fair price. It's a bit out of the way for my drive but I'd go there again if I didn't mind the drive. read more

Best hot and sour soup ever anywhere!! Get the tuna salad app...mmmmm...love their kimchee stew and bulgoki in the hot stone pot with assorted saucy goodness to drizzle on top, and sushi and maki always good, from basic to creative, I savor it all. I love it here and it's in Hudson NH??!! Great vibe, great staff, great times always. If I am gonna drop some bucks for dinner, I will happily drop them here in exchange for their hospitality and that 'I've been to DS feeling in my belly and that DS taste lingering on me tounge' never been dissapointed. My wife and I celebrate our anniversary here. Interesting blend of Korean, Thai and Japanese. Best sushi in southern New Hampshire. It's a small hole in the wall with friendly service. Sun, one of their waitress is a sweetheart. Their Thai iced tea comes in a large glass, it's super delicious, refreshing and usually last my entire meal. For appetizers, my go to are the steamed gyoza, crab rangoons and seaweed salad. My go to sushi rolls are the broken heart roll, spicy Phuket roll and the white dragon roll. Another delicious meal to try is the hot stone bulgogi bowl. Don't forget to add veggies! The rice gets crunchy and the beef is soft and tasty. You also can't go wrong with the drunken noodles and Pad Thai! read more

I've driven by this place for years and finally stopped to try it out. Although it's in a plaza and looked like fast food from the outside, it was very bright, cheery, and simply decorated inside. The menu for dinner have just enough variety for both the sushi lover and Japanese or Korean dish lover. Prices were very reasonable. We ordered crab Rangoon which was hand made and had lots of filling...yum. The hot and sour soup was very good, a little different from the Chinese version as this seemed healthier. All 5 in our party had sushi which like the decore, was simple to look at but delicious. Looking forward to a return visit. read more

I've been here several times, but mostly order from their take-out lunch menu. The prices are decent for the amount of food you're getting, and hey, the sushi is great. Actually, it's the best sushi place I know of in the Southern NH area. If you don't believe me, believe my mother--she's Japanese. We probably come here at least once a month when we need a sushi fix. Also, she must've joined some mailing list or something because every year for the last four years (without fail), they've mailed her a $5 birthday coupon. The only problem I have with this place is the rude/moody woman who takes the pickup orders. I'd say about 50% of the time we've ordered from here, she's been there. Coming from NJ/NY area I have high expectations for sushi. This place delivered. Def check out the special maki section. Bob's and Henry's maki was excellent. Alaskan roll was a little to sweet for my taste, but that's not their fault. Wife liked the Spider and the Dynamite maki. Diane was a little plain for her, but not too bad. All in all, an excellent experience, and while not cheap, pretty reasonable for what you get. PS: a larger selection of beer would be awesome (maybe some local brews). read more

First time here loved the Miso soup nice and warm good for a cold day! Got a huge hot bowl full of chicken, rice, egg, and veggies. Asked for it mild and was catered to with extra spice on the side if I wanted! The egg in the bowl is awesome. Lots of good veggies in the bowl (not a huge veggie person but enjoyed the flavor). I even tried my first crab roll and thought it was good. I am a tuna sushi person and enjoyed their fresh crab and very fresh seaweed wraps which I have gotten crunchy at other places! The sushi, sashimi and wraps are a great value for what you pay. The Korean bowls are delicious. The service is just OK, often an inexperienced, overwhelmed high school student. It is fair when reviewing to consider that it's a small, out-of-the-way location that keeps its prices down, so I would not compare it to a top-flight restaurant. Yummm...working down the road from Dynamite can be a dangerous situation, as the food is always worth every penny and I'm always more than satisfied with the quality. Their hot and sour soup is absolutely delicious and when I venture anywhere else, I tend to use Dynamite as a baseline, which isn't particularly fair, as I believe their's has got to be some of, if not the, best I've had. I typically stick with their lunch boxes, as I feel they offer the best deal. Boston Maki roll and sashimi is typical and fills me up quite well...from time to time though, I'll forage through the rest of the menu or order striaght from the sushi bar...being a fan of cocnut, I love the Alaskan roll. A word of caution though, I'd get here before 12:00 as the restaurant is failry small and tends to fill up quick. read more

I tried Dynamite Sushi for the first time last night. We ordered the appetizer sampler to start and everything was tasty. We shared the spicy maki combo and the hot stone pot with pork for dinner. This restaurant needs to re-think their table setup. The sushi is server on rather large plates, with the rather large condiment setup on the table, there was no room for anything else. We had to eat our sushi, then our stone pot because of the table size. If the table had a halfmoon drop down leaf, it would have solved the problem. Luckily we wanted to share, otherwise we would have had to eat one at a time. I thought the sushi was ok. The rice was sticky and the sauce with the salmon was oddly sweet. The stone pot was absolutely delicious, served with a spicy sauce and a ginger soy. Also, I had a ginger iced tea that was very good. Server was friendly. I will probably be back but I might skip the sushi or try one of the special rolls. read more

I have to say this place has the best sushi all around! Ok, with that said, I will explain what a positive visit turned very ugly!! My friend and I ate there on a Friday night. We were excited to go and more thrilled that a family member gave us a gift card to use. The food was amazing and then came the bill! I paid the bill with the gift card and gave a generous tip as the service was great and a bonus of not having to pay for the meal. The server came back to the table and informed us that they would not except the gift card since they had bought the business from the previous owners. My first reaction was, wow that's strange and I was pretty sure not legal. The name of the place is the same exact name as the gift card and the name on the building. How is anyone suppose to know it's a different owner? Since this didn't settle with me I have since researched the situation and found out that there is no reason they should not have excepted our gift card! In my opinion as good customer service they should have with no reservations excepted it! Although we loved the food the management ruined our experience and we will not be returning! Ive spoken to a few establishments and not one disagrees with me. I will be contacting the better business bureau in hopes to help anyone in the future. NOT RIGHT! read more

Let me start off by saying that due to the service at Dynamite, I had to take one star off. I do not know of one time that I have been in the restaurant that I haven't sat waiting for the waitress to come over to take the order for several minutes (some times 10-15 minutes). With that said, Dynamite food is nothing short of fantastic. Ho (the owner) performs QC on every dish and it is always superb. The Hot and Sour soup comes highly recommended, as it will burn your eyes out of your head. It is not over loaded with ingredients as you would normally find in a Hot and Sour, which makes it nice and not over bearing. One thing that everyone should know about this restaurant is if it says "Hot" or "Spicy" on the menu/sushi list, they are not kidding. I also recommend the Veggie Dynamite. Especially if you like tempura asparagus. It is a constant favorite for everyone that I have introduced to this restaurant. If you like pineapple, coconut and crab, I also recommend the Alaskan Roll. One time it came with a sauce on it, maybe coconut milk??? Fortunately, they never made that mistake again. As for fried rice, beef is the best, though the kimchi is also very tasty. One great thing about Dynamite is that they always, always, always use fresh ingredients. Nothing frozen. As for drinks, I recommend the Ginger Ice Tea. Over all, one of my favorite restaurants and I think everyone should try it atleast once!! read more

I can honestly say this place is where it's at in the Southern NH area for Sushi! They suggest placing take out orders 2 - 3 hours ahead of time on Fridays and Saturdays, which shows you the loyalty their customers have. Now for their food. My wife and I standard order is large crab rangoon, large spider maki, small shrimp tempura maki and a spicy tuna roll. The crab ran goons are easily the best I've ever had or maybe a tie for first, but there awesome. The sauces they provide are unique and is one of the keys to separating them from the rest of the field and the same goes for all the suhi, each item rolled to perfection. Try the ginger soy sauce! Dynamite Sushi is, hands down, my favorite sushi place of all time. And I have been to many. Their spicy tuna roll is nice and fiery and Ho is always experimenting with new sushi offerings. If you're lucky he'll test one out on you. Some of our favorites are the spicy tuna roll, scallop sushi, uni (not usually on offer anymore but ask Ho), yellowtail, unagi, salmon, salmon roe, and Ho's Maki #1. The Ok Dol Bi Bim Bap here is also fantastic. I get mine with Bulgoki, a Korean beef specialty that is spicy, sweet and perfect. The walls are decorated with artwork and photography of local artists and rotates regularly. It's a really great atmosphere. The waitstaff is friendly and is usually super professional. I have only had one complaint and it was when our waiter kept handing us our drinking glasses with his fingers stuck in them! Gross. My guess is that he was new to serving and didn't know how to properly hold glasses yet. Another great thing about Dynamite is If you fill out a survey card you will get coupons in the mail! I still have some that I'm getting ready to use soon. So, get yourselves to Hudson to Dynamite for delicious sushi and other tasty Asian dishes. I'll see you there. I don't understand how this restaurant has been given such high ratings. We ordered take out of 60 worth of pad thai and sushi maki. I was disappointed and won't be back. The pad thai was extremely spicy-we couldn't eat it and we love spicy food. The makis were off.. The fish wasnt fresh and the rice dry. Not well put together. We won't order ever again. read more

This is a great casual spot, hidden in a small strip mall. I'm not a big sushi fan, but the maki rolls are awesome. Always freshly made and delicious. I sometimes order a crab salad, which is a garden salad loaded with fresh crabmeat and a ginger dressing that is delicious. We are always greeted as we walk in the door and the service is always quick and friendly. It is family owned and Joe, Allie and Sung are such nice people and eager to please. We've just visited for the first time today, and were happily surprised! Our expectations weren't high because its seems kind of unassuming from the outside, but its a solid option and we'll be visiting often. The waitress greeted us immediately and was very friendly, and she offered to explain menu options if we needed. We were one of 2 tables there, so it was pretty quiet, but i imagine thats because we came in at an odd time of day. Our order was taken promptly, and it didn't take very long for it to come out. We ordered from the lunch menu and split the Spicy Maki combo with Miso soup and the Chicken Tempura Udon. Both were tasty, the Udon especially was warm and comforting. The tempura chicken was super crispy and soooo good! The portion size was nice, we actually ended up taking half of the Udon back as leftovers. For the maki combo, we liked the flavors a lot, but the pieces were a little on the small side for what we are used to. im not sure if thats because they were a lunch portion, we plan on going back to order from the normal menu to see, but it was still delicious and not overpriced, so we'd order again no matter the case. All told, we spend about $28 before tip on the two meals and waters. all in all, looking forward to trying out a bunch of things and seeing if this becomes a regular haunt for us! read more

Well I've had two drastically different experiences in this restaurant. Sadly I downloaded this app just now to tell about the sub par one. Waited 50 minutes for a single sushi roll this evening that was a maki roll. Not only was I not impressed with the size of the roll and amount of ingredients in it for the 15 dollars it cost but after 50 minutes of waiting they offered to do nothing. As a food service business I don't think I will ever go back after this experience and lack of effort to make it right. read more

We were looking for something fairly healthy and quick on our recent jaunt to Nashua. Between COVID and not wanting fast food, our options were limited. We love sushi so we gave this a try. It was delicious! The staff was patient as I picked out my order, they were friendly and helpful. They provided everything we needed to eat our meals (napkins, chopsticks, soy sauce, etc.). Everything is just super fresh the dynamite maki roll is my favorite but i also try something new whenever i go. This place is local to me so I wish my experience hadn't been so bad to not go back. I had takeout at least once and it was very good. My last takeout experience was very bad. The gentleman working the takeout counter never called my name, didn't care to check since I had been there for a long time and I found out later had given my food to someone else. What then happened was that I asked where my food was, they couldn't find it. They put in a new order for it. Then the other customer comes back with what I will soon find out is my bag. The takeout guy checks the bag and then tells me food is ready! Seriously? He was going to give me food that was outside of their control? I asked about the order he already put in and he said he cancelled it because my food was right there. He thought this was OK. I decided to ask for my money back based on an attitude and the fact that there seems to be no concern for food quality and the safety of the customers health if they will make decisions like this. Don't order delivery !!!!! We live 2.1 miles away and we're told thirty mins to prepare before delivered. After an hour and a half and two calls our food arrived. The sushi is SO amazing. It would have been better fresh. Our appetizer was OK, but completely cold by the time it got here. They did compensate a little off our bill, but ruined our family night in.
