The staff was great. The group of guys who worked that day were all friendly and engaging. They were pushy and very helpful. The store is kind of enormous with tons and tons of stuff, mostly clothing (men's and women's) with other cool accessories, bags, shoes, etc. They had a lot of cool Toronto t-shirts there perfect for the tourist like me and the local who wants to rep their city. Prices were reasonable to slightly high depending on how you gauge things. I could have definitely bought more here but I was trying to watch my budget- I couldn't blow all of my money on my first shopping trip. This is the perfect place to pick up a gift for someone, whether that someone is you is to be determined. And if I'm in that part of town when I'm back in Toronto, I'll be back for sure.

There is still one picture posted of the old tiny store. This new showroom is bigger and packed with new items. They now sell all kinds of products and hardware like their display tables and all kinds of nick knacks. It was always the brands that got me hooked on Neon -- Vans, Converse, Doc Martens and now Kodiak boots along with clothes from Element. Their latest signature line is from Fjällräven Kånken in Sweden where everything they make is a hit, all killer and no filler sort of thing. Expensive, but worth it for anyone who is active. Some of their products are more technical in nature but the colours and styles are outstanding and tasteful. They winter coats and jackets make sense for our climate and eschews the down overkill of what you normally see on the streets of To. Neon, glad to have you back!

this store was kind enough to divide itself into two distinctly sex based stores so that all of us…read morewho have difficulty distinguishing between the mens and womens garments no longer have to suffer in silence. this small store was the mens store. in it were blazers/sport jackets (whatever the hell sport that it is youd play in them i dont know), light long sleeve tee shirts, short sleeve tee shirts, some shoes, belts, bags, pants - both casual like jeans and more formal like, you know, sport pants (for that same elusive sport above). although i didnt ask and i would venture to say that if i really loved it they would order it in for me, make it or whatever it is they do, but they had about one size for each style of hat they had and though the selection seemed varied (for not being a hatter shop - hatter is the right term; i do my research), it was disheartening to have the majority of the hats resemble dunce hats on my head because they couldnt fit around its girth. (im fully willing to accept that im projecting the anger felt about my fat dome.) anyhow, they had those fargo hats with the flaps in a few different styles, some simple bowl toques that are in style these days (overpriced anywhere you go in my opinion) and a few caps here and there. all pretty cool and though not all styles agreed with me (we are talking taste wise here not swelled noggin), it was nice to see the variety. for about 60 or so dollars you could pick up a leather belt with an impressive buckle. the beauty of this belt is that once youve picked the right leather, first of all you can mix and match, because the belts and buckles are sold separately, and secondly, you can always come back for an alternate buckle (or buy as many buckles as you like at the same time i suppose). there were some really cool baseball tee shirts with those 3/4 arms that were very very thin and weathered in some way where patches of it looked thicker in material and some parts were much thinner. great shirt, but itd be a shirt id wear once in a while when i knew i was doing something nowhere near related to a game of baseball. the long sleeve collared shirts also stood out to me, with varied styles, nice patterns and fabrics. the jackets seemed not to stand out in the same way. all in all, i enjoyed this shop, will come here again, probably to buy a belt first and i look forward to their continued success.

With a focus on being feminine, it doesn't fall into the trap of the instagram trendy fashion where you wear it one day and toss the next. I do love how this supports Canadian brands... 200% love it. I spotted Sara Duke, Birds of North America, and even Sloane Tea! They also have non Canadian brands but they're keeping in the same aesthetics and quality. So I find the stitching and fabrics a good step up from anything you'd find in the normal malls. I would say the overall look curated here is casual and relaxed with a pretty spin. So think loose dresses in light prints, flowy blouses, A line tank tops that keeps you cool, and comfy linen pants. Personally my preference didn't quite fit this look but I did enjoy perusing the racks in hopes of finding something. This particular store is not large so I had a hard time finding anything in my size even if I did find clothes that did catch my eye. I do appreciate how everything was nicely organized so I could look around without feeling claustrophobic or lost in a maze of racks. Service here was courteous and prompt. They did welcome everyone who walked in and that was a nice touch. For those who did need help, I could see them actively trying to find a new size or help bring over a new accessories to match the items they were trying. Overall, I'd love to support a Canadian store that offers quality items that are Canadian made. Totally thrilled with the idea. Maybe in another season I could find a casual and yet cute item there.

I would think a Stepford wife and mom would wear these to a child's birthday party or a leisurely day in the Hamptons. Tailored but not sucked in tight... Relaxed but not dull... Whimsical & lightly conservative but not boring.... Retro inspired but not old school... you get the idea. This is not my style but this red dress was an anomaly in the store. It was my style... a modern and edgier take on Audrey Hepburn. Just giving you a bit more skin and shape than the OG classics to keep it interesting and eye catching. It's material was unique... though overall it was a summer wear, it was a rich lightweave knit that had so much stretch and give that it hugged every curve in the right spots. Yet somehow it was designed with a nod towards Roman Holidays and allowed the skirt to flow and ripple beautifully in any wind Rome would send me. Service here is just amazing... they all stopped to compliment me when I walked out the change room with 'sincerity'. If they are truly authentic then I have to say it's possibly the nicest service I had in a while... like really nice people in general. If they were trying to close a sale, it's still the best service I've had in a while. Oh, the store is really posh... not quite luxury stuffy but you know you're in a nice spot. The change rooms are a walk in closet size with the most complimentary lighting I've seen and the plush carpeting makes you feel like you're in a boudoir. I have shopped at this location a few times and recently visited to buy a gift for my Maid of Honour for my upcoming wedding. The ladies there greeted me immediately and never pressure me. In other words the dresses are high fashion but not trendy - they can be worn from season to season - and they fit all body types from Kate Moss to Kelly Osborne. Oh and about the attitude...oddly there is none. The staff is very relaxed and actually leaves you alone when you claim you're 'just looking.' Whether it's grad season, wedding month, or I just plain want to look good, Meg is at the top of my list when it's time to be a showstopper.
