They are refusing to exchange her faulty unworn shoes for new ones. She is 67 years old and deserves to be treated like a real customer. I find this offensive and hurtful. She is very upset with this treatment. She doesn't have a receipt but the fact is the shoes are faulty. Companies that want to retain customers should spend more time thinking about them than the bottom line. WIll never go here again and will tell everyone I meet about how my mother was treated by these people. Very disappointed.

This location is about a block away from Yonge St and St. Clair Ave. The door is accessible and the St. Clair Station is close by. There are parking garages nearby but street parking directly in front of the store is difficult. The store reps were very helpful and greeted me right away. Since all the reps in the front were busy, one rep called someone from the back. She did 2 measurements of my feet than tried different versions of insoles in my size and different shoe sizes to help me make my choice. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this location.

Who else does that? Dack's never did that let alone remember me as a customer. -- So an update on my boots that I brought six years ago.. The soles have finally worn out and still I wear them. I went back to the store to see if repair was possible since the uppers were still in decent condition given hard, daily wear over the years. Sadly, the Company themselves do not repair the soles given their manufacturing techniques. Okay, fair enough, I thought. They did mention a local cobbler who might be able to bond a replacement lower but it wouldn't be under "warranty" any longer. So I'm tempted to give it a try after I buy a replacement boots first. Well, ten more friends telling you the same thing and suddenly you find yourself in one of the few places in Toronto that they sell them in asking if they've got your size. The store is a small hole-in-the-wall shop dedicated to the sale of either Blundstones boots or, for the lady that doesn't wish a full-on comfy leather boot, Ugs. Both have come into their own as "the hip apparel" for Toronto and this place is dedicated to them. The staff are tremendously helpful for the uninitiated and will take you through all the benefits of the boot; the comfort, the care, the durability, the guarantee. I've had my first pair for years and they still hold up. The latest pair? An Australian tribute to Canada with the word 'Eh?' on the pull-tab. They were a hit in Melbourne.

The sales associate was great and even brought out a pair that were like the Milly but had a lower heel and better support and were not on display. I loved them, but as it turns out, one of the many little crystals adorning the top had already fallen out (I had read in some of the show reviews that this might happen). She told me that there was a 6 month warranty on any shoe defects, but I wasn't going to chance it. She helped me find a super cute, narrower and sexier comfort sandal in bronze and gold with python print. They are super comfy and beautiful. I have to say that despite the good service, I don't know how much traffic this location gets. Every time I've gone in, I've been the only person in the store. On Queen St., that is a rarity.

Today I called ahead to ask if they had my tennis shoes in stock, and if they were on the Boxing Day sale. They said no, but that I should buy the shoes online. I tried , but saw no avenue to do so, other than to try a live chat with New Balance (NB). I tried the online chat, and Ja'Daisha came on after a long, 35 minute wait. He or she told me they have no authority to sell shoes and suggested I contacted a different customer Service number 1 800 595-9138, who could certainly help me. I asked what the current Boxing Day price for the shoes would be, and was told $119.99. I asked him/her to stay online while I called that number, but he/she simply put the phone down on me. I then called the new customer service number, waited only about 15 minutes this time. I was told there was no record of my particulars, but that he, Edwin, could help me. He found the shoes, but said the would cost $150, not the $120 Ja' Daisha had promised in writing on our chat. I started this review by saying I am an old customer of New Balance. I shoud've said : "was an old customer". What a frustrating waste of a potential Boxing Day shopping expedition.
