Despite this, my vehicle was repossessed without any notice or right to cure, just days after a payment was made and accepted. I was given inconsistent ledgers, and my payments were applied in a way that made my account appear delinquent. After I filed complaints, I learned Dynamite Auto Sales is not even listed in the CFPB complaint system, which prevented a federal investigation from moving forward. Since then, I have seen multiple reviews describing nearly identical issues: Vehicles breaking down soon after purchase, Repossession shortly after major repairs or payments, Poor customer service, and Refusals to report to or respond through consumer protection agencies. So, I just got a car here not too long ago, and it's been quite the experience. Since I've gotten the car, I've visited this place about 3-4 times. Not because of anything bad, but just because I'm still uneasy with the process, it's a wait and see type of thing with me... In my first review, I mentioned how great the men who helped me were, and that's still the same experience. So, nothing really changed with that. I'd visited the lot twice to get work done if the car. Well, technically, the second time, I went to get the car checked, and the third time I had work done. I had already had Pep Boys and Autozone check the car, and they said the car was good, but you can never be too sure with the cars at places like this. You know, with places like this, they get cars in whatever condition. They may fix it up, or they may not. So, you just never know. I initially had them check the car because I noticed the car was hiccuping. The mechanic said it was the CVT or something like that and that the transmission/car was fine. So, I left. Then my stepdad did some research and told me to have them change the spark plugs, because ppl with the same car noticed that issue too. So, I went back and had them change the spark plugs and the brakes. They did those things, and the car has been running great. No more hiccups! I'm just super excessive with making sure I get everything checked out and fixed because there's only a 15 day warranty for the car, which is very worrisome lol but Pep Boys, Autozone, and the mechanic and Dynamite said the car is in good condition... I'm just extra cautious... So, I make my 1st payment in a few days. So, I'll keep y'all updated. read more

I didn't visit the dealership or make a purchase, but was very much trying to give them my money. There was a vehicle I had found on Facebook that I was very interested in and about ready to go in and pay cash for. I messaged the person on Facebook, who asked for my number to give me a call. Never received a call, even after checking back in. Or, if they did try to call, I never got a voicemail, text, follow-up, nothing. I figured out it was at Dynamite and gave them a call just to be told that they had it, but it wasn't available (however that works) and got hung up on as I was asking about other similar inventory they might have had. Guess they didn't want to make a sale. Very frustrating considering I was told it was available and invested a bunch of time into deciding if I wanted it. read more

Roy - You ego isn't your amigo and it cost you a cool $14k cash because you let mouth run before your brain caught up. Your arrogance, smart allic comments and replies ended a definite sale before it even started because you as you said "I don't have to listen to $**t." I was simply asking YOU to listen because you took it wrong, let start again. But instead your last comment of "Sorry your feelings got hurt" ended that sale first thing at noon. I bet the manager/Joel would NOT have treated me like that and would have been HAPPY to sell a vehicle with NO FINANCING - cash and not have taken anything I said wrong - especially since I was smiling, not yelling nor raising my voice after your stupid comments. I bet the owner wouldn't be happy either. This is why these type dealerships have the rep they do - because ppl like you are working there. First time I went in the owner actually gave me a hard time about buying a car, saying I didnt have enough information. I was TERRIBLY insulted an desperate. I needed a car. SO 500 DOWN 450 IN PAYMENTS AND ABOUT ANOTHER 500 IN REPAIRS PARTS AND LABOR THE CAR STILL ISNT RUNNING RIGHT. I'm going to voluntarily repo this 2000 Honda... I've spent about $2000 on a car thats worth a little over 3000 in good shape!!!! I'm supposed to pay 150 every other week until November 2020??? I THINK NOT!!!!! I cant even USE it!!!!! and if it's put in Collections or on my credit, Ill be reporting them to the Attorney General. And suing !!!! There IS a LEMON LAW on used cars !!! My girlfriend and I bought a car here in May. Within a week we had replaced tires and suspension and had to have the ac worked on since that died. I took it to a garage for an oil change and they found a massive oil leak. What was thought to be a $1,200 fix has now turned in to a several thousand dollar fix. They say their mechanics policy is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". It seems like they forgot to mention the other part of their policy. "If it is broke, just ignore it. It's not our problem when it leaves the lot". Stay away from this place at all costs. read more

Got a vehicle from the lot paid cash for it within 15 day warranty my engine light was on And I needed sensors fixed ,took it to them they said they fixed it ,light was off so I said thanks , next day turns back on take it and they say they need to keep my vehicle , now I have no car to drive and they didn't have a loaner for me but said they could drop me off. Get in the office I'm on the phone and they hear me talking and man comes out talking about I'll give you your money back , and then 3 other office personnel right behind him make snide comments it took all I had not to make a seen and fuck their establishment up , then once I'm ready to get my cash they want to say wel we have a replacement vehicle for you , as I'm walking out he say yeah we will sell the car at auction and get more than what I paid for it .I repeat do not buy from them they sell you lemons read more

Okay so I feel it's time for me to go ahead and update my experience with dynamite Auto Sales. Oh I bet you thought I was getting ready to say something negative yeah you were wrong. I have been having my car for a while now. I had some issues took it in they fixed the issue with my car as well as allow me to make some payment arrangements. That were were not so far-fetched that we all did not agree on it. I love Dynamite Auto Sales one because of my first initial contact with a man named Roy. He has still continued to be here and he has always in my eyes have been super loyal. His wife Celine I believe now she is the office manager and she is one of the ones that when you speak to her don't look at her face and think that she is mean because she's not. She smiles just like the rest of us. So if you walk around and you have an attitude what do you expect you're going to get back is an attitude. But she's not that one I love her so much. And the newcomer Erika super sweet girl every since she has gotten there she has just been a joy to work with. And I cannot forget my dude Neil I could call up to the store and they will say bring it down let us check it out. How many car lots on Van Buren I might say would do something like that and then not treat you fairly after you have bought a car from them. No matter how many cars I have gotten from them and when I say how many I've gotten that includes family member and friends I have continued to deal with this company and still refer people to this company and I am still with them after about 15 or maybe 20 years. i warned everybody on here years ago back in 2011 not to buy a vehicle or give money to these fools. if i had a car dealership in phoenix i would move my dealership right across the street or right next door and put them to shame right on the same block. i just don't see how they can steal money from struggling low to middle income families and single mothers and thank that it is ethical or funny. then have the balls to put their customers in collections after they sold their customers lemons. even after 7 years they still try to collect with collection agency's which is also against the law. if you checkin with yelp dynamite says you will get a free oil change..lol..that's not right if you check in to dynamite you will need whole new replacement engine for the car they just sold to you!! and one day while your driving to work in the vehicle it will overheat and breakdown right in the middle of the intersection and it will be over 110 degrees outside..it will most likely breakdown on friday late afternoon or a day when the mechanic is unavailable. what a shame. read more

We bought our son a 2004 car here about a month ago. So far, we had to have the clutch replaced. Luckily it happened within 3 days of purchasing it so they fixed it for free. BUT, the car has been giving our son trouble when trying to start it. Dropped it at a local shop to see what is wrong. You name it - it needs replaced! Over $2000 to get it fixed. And some of these things are safety items and shouldn't be driven by anybody! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all and I WILL NEVER EVER return! Total rip off kind of people! Not trustworthy! I can't imagine doing this to people every day. What kind of people are they? What a sad day. read more

I had a terrible time trying to get a car with some bank issues and only being in az for 2 months, but Ceasar was extremely sympathetic to my plight and helped me look for a car. I see others rated poorly based on the cars they got breaking down. Let me ask who goes and gets a car without getting it checked out? Me? I am not a car idiot. I looked at every car inside and out and test drove them. And know a thing or two about cars ;) I bought one and they even made it possible for me to pay it off in less than a year! I have not had one issue with the car I bought. It's in perfect working order and had over 100k when I bought it! Still going strong! I highly recommend Ceasar and also recommend you bring a mechanic savvy person with you as these are used cars and you take a gamble any way you slice it. read more

This is an absolute horrible dealership. I have been to several places in the valley and I have never been so upset and disgusted at this place. They are rude, unhelpful, very sketchy, and overall horrible customer service reps. I will never deal with this dealership again. The car we purchased from them was a disaster. I bought a car from dynamite Auto Sales for $9000 took it home for 2 days and the oil light and ABS light was on took it back 5 times still not fixed. Took it back again they send it to ABC Nissan to get fixed. They said they were going to get it fixed. called me said pick my car up its fixed this was the next day. refused to give me any paper work saying that the car was completely fine. Had to go to the Nissan dealership and get the paperwork and found out there's 3000. thousand dollars worth of work to be done. Dynamite Auto Sales told me they wouldn't fix it and it was my problem. So please do not go to diamonds Auto Sales! They will take your money and sale you a lemon. read more

I sent my two grown children to Dynamite Auto Sales to check out a couple s10's that were for sale. My daughter, who is 25, had to go with her brother because he is deaf. Upon walking up to office she was immediately met with rudeness!!! My daughter asked about credit and the man in the office asked questions that were none of his business!! His answers to questions were short, treating her like she was unimportant. Later on when someone called me about an inquiry I emailed they had no idea who was in the office and even had the nerve to say "Are you sure it was this lot?" Really?!!! I even gave him his address!! Poor poor customer service! I will not return and I will tell everyone I know to not go here! So disappointing to take time to try and find a vehicle only to be met with total rudeness!! read more

I have had no issues with the vehicle that I bought or the price that I paid. I purchased it cash and did not get asked for extra and or unexpected added cost (docking fee - cleaning fee- environmental fee) it was advertised at about $4000 and that plus tax is what I paid; I will consider purchasing another used vehicle should I be in the market - in my opinion Dynamite Auto Sales Inc. provided me with a high quality used mid-ranged priced vehicle. read more

Place is horrible, I bought a car from these crooks and looked ok from how clean everything was but the next day it had a big leak and wanted my money back the dealer was super rude and disrespectful ROY told me I should get a lawyer because I wouldnt except second time repairs on the vehicle with failed emissions. Do not buy from these guys unless you like wasting your money and time I have to take this to court now because they DO NOT have any kind of good customer service skills at all. I purchased a car with approximately 58,000 miles on it. It was semi-clean & everything look good under the hood. The test drive felt smooth & I was pleased after expressing my concerns with Raul. He assured me that I had 3 days to bring the car back if I decided not to keep it & 15 days to have repairs done if any repairs were needed. Well, I decided to keep the car and 7 days went by. I had to return the vehicle for repairs due to smoking under the hood. It took 72 hours for them to make the repairs and I thought I was on my way and good to go. Boy was I wrong! A couple of days later the vehicle started to overheat and I had to have them tow it in to make repairs. Again it took 72 hours for them to make the repairs. Once I had arrived to pick the car I asked if it was possible for them to check all of the hoses for leaks. The receptionist Stella became enraged and said, "This is the second time you've brought this car in, this rarely happens." I was shocked at her tone and response, so I requested to speak to her boss, he was out to lunch, so I was unable to. I got the keys and drove off the lot and I hadn't even made it half way home, the car started to overheat! I knew at that point I was doomed. I ended up javing to pay for a tow truck and amost $400 in repairs! The receptionist has a very bad attitude and does not have people skills! She's very standoffish even when I made payments. Raul is a liar and a fast-talking car salemen who doesn't care about you or the car after you give him your money and lastly the mechanics get paid to mess your car up worst and not fix the real problems. It's sad, my advice is to not go there, save a little extra and go somewhere else. read more
