Cindy did my makeup for my wedding, and is absolutely amazing. My trial went very well. Cindy worked with me to determine what colors would look best, and she was very receptive. She traveled to the hotel to do my entire bridal party, and did a fantastic job. Some girls preferred a more natural look, while some preferred more makeup- and she did a wonderful job accommodating everyone. I would highly recommend Cindy. Cindy was awesome!!!! From the makeup trial that I was a little nervous for since I can't wear a mask during the trial to the wedding day where she came into the house to do makeup for my bubby, mom, sister, and I. She was professional and explained everything which made me feel more comfortable. I do not wear makeup so I said "as natural as possible" and it was!!! I am posting this for my new wife - as she does not have a yelp account! Cindy is absolutely positively wonderful. I may be slightly biased because she's my aunt-in-law (is that how you say that?), but regardless of my allegiance she did the most beautiful wedding makeup on my entire wedding party. In my mind, that's not a small feat. I have bridesmaids that like to wear makeup, some that never wear makeup, a mom that has never in her life worn makeup, plus different racial coloring. I didn't think it would be possible for her to get each one of us exactly correct.. but even with all that variety between us, Cindy managed to capture each personality perfectly. All that for only knowing us for the morning. As for me, I knew her a little longer and she is well aware of my no makeup policy. She managed to push me to exactly enough I needed to look amazing in photos. It was completely natural, but accented exactly what should be. Cindy did my makeup for my wedding. The girls in my wedding party were all very pleased with the way they looked. I received many compliments on the way I looked. She listened to what I was looking for. My husband is usually very critical about me wearing makeup (he always says I do not need any!). However, Cindy made my makeup look very natural while masking the imperfections and accentuating my natural features. We were both very pleased with the results! Casey was my makeup artist for my wedding - she also did my mother's makeup. I didn't have a bridal party, so it was difficult to find a makeup artist who would travel to the hotel in Philly for just two people. Dylan Michael has reasonable prices - the only downside is that I had to drive to Jenkintown for my trial! Casey was phenomenal - my mother and I aren't huge makeup people, and she made us look so fantastic and not overdone. read more

I live in the area and one day while driving by I saw an advertisement indicating that they now do lash extensions, I called several times and left a few messages that were never returned. I hired Dylan Michael Cosmetics to do the make up for my wedding in December. I cannot begin to express how happy I was with my entire experience with Cindy (owner) from start to finish. As a mature bride (55), I was very concerned about ensuring my makeup was appropriate for my age yet it would look special and would wear well throughout the entire wedding day. Cindy did not disappoint! After our first introductory email, I got the sense I was in good hands. That feeling was solidified when we met for my trial and we discussed the right look for me. Cindy incorporated my feedback (real time) during the trial (changing eyeliner color, thickness, etc.) and took the time to explain WHY she chose the colors she used. Afterwards, I sent pictures to her throughout the day so that she could see how the makeup was wearing over the course of 8-10 hours. The next day Cindy sent an email describing what changes she would make based upon the pictures. WOW! For us older ladies, keep this in mind... Cindy does not overdo or overapply. Not once did my make-up cake anywhere on my face... not on trial day and certainly not on my wedding day. In fact, her color choices/application made me look 5 years younger! I should also point out that Cindy did the make up for my two daughters ages 18 & 26. They were both STUNNING and the applications were different for each girl playing up on different eye shapes/eye & hair colors, etc. The point here is that a) she is incredibly talented and b) she can handle any age of customer! I am so happy with Cindy that I am heading back her way (over an hour trip) to get a makeup application lesson from her! I would highly recommend Dylan Michael Cosmetics for any occasion. read more

I recently got married on 9/23/16 and hired Dylan Michael as the makeup artists. I was lucky to find them, as it was only about 3 weeks before my wedding I had to find a new professional due to complications with the original person I hired. Cindy was very responsive to all emails and was able to quickly schedule me in for a trial with Casey. Casey did such an amazing job that I barely recognized myself! As I'm sure is normal for most brides, I was slightly stressed (even if I didn't think so) and it was very apparent in my face. I had a few breakouts so was concerned about what the outcome would look like. I had an idea going in what look I was going for, and Casey was able to reproduce it. I requested a few variations, and she was so patient throughout the entire process. Casey came to our venue the day of to do the makeup for me, my girls, and my mom. She was very quick, super pleasant, and made you feel as ease in her makeup chair. Their prices are also very reasonable for special occasions. Going through the wedding planning process, you realize that as soon as people hear the word "wedding" prices get jacked up by about 1000%. Cindy Singer is amazing! My mother treated me to a make up lesson with Cindy Singer. Well, actually the lesson is free! I've never been very good at applying my own makeup, so, I generally wear practically none. Well, with Cindy's guidance, I now feel so confident putting on makeup! I love my new look! Cindy taught me what colors will work with my skin, eye and hair color. Then, she took the time to teach me step-by-step how to apply everything. I used Cindy Singer/Dylan Michael Cosmetics for myself and my entire bridal party and could not have been happier! I do not usually wear much make up and wanted to look glamorous but comfortable. Cindy did an excellent job, asking me questions throughout the process about what I liked/disliked and adjusting her ideas to fit my style. She individualized the looks for each person, using different types of make up based on skin types, etc. I was most concerned about the make up not holding up throughout the entire day but it lasted into the next morning!
