Be careful!! Stay away from this horrible company. I hired them two years ago to put gutter guards…read moreon my gutters. I loved the technician named Eddie. Very nice and easy to talk to. I was told how the gutter guard would get slid under the shingles and then attach to the gutters (as it should). I sign off on the estimate. And then they come to do the job. From the ground level it looked like everything was going well. I later walk upstairs to a bedroom and look out the window to find that he was installing the gutter guards OVER the shingles and drilling screws INTO my shingles!!! He was creating holes in my shingles which becomes a new source of water breaching which is the exact opposite purpose of having a roof and gutter guards. I immediately run outside to question what he is doing. I was so alarmed. He had already installed almost 1/3 of the gutter guards damaging my roof. He kept insisting that this was a standard way to install the guards. I told him absolutely not. I am very familiar with gutter guards and know very well that they have to be slid under the shingles. How can you drill screws into shingles creating holes all around my roof edge?!?! He kept promising me that it would be fine and that if there were ever a problem I can call and they would come back to remedy it no charge. I emailed the main office telling them what happened and telling them what he said. They wrote back confirming that they would come back anytime in the future for free should a problem ever arise. At that point I felt I had no other recourse because he had already installed 1/3 of the guards around my roof. So he went ahead and finished. I gave them a good review online because I trusted them that this will still be okay and they will stand by any issues that arise in the future. Fast forward 2 years later, now some of the gutter guards have loosened (obviously because they were screwed in and now the screws are getting loose). Multiple gutters have gotten clogged with leaves even though that is exactly what they were supposed to prevent. I got on a ladder and discovered the reason is because he cut the gutter guard edges with gaps from roof edge to roof edge. So there are multiple entry points for the leaves and dirt to go into. All he did was cover SECTIONS of my gutters but left gaping holes in multiple areas so that they no longer serve their purpose. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with Home Ally. I've called and left messages. No response. I've sent Thumbtack messages. No response. I've sent emails. No response. This is beyond disturbing. I had another company come to look and they said they've never seen anything so disastrous with gutter guards. And the amount of damage caused to my roof is irreversible! What was supposed to be a simple job to protect my home has turned into a nightmare now that will cost me thousands and thousands of dollars!! Stay far away from this company. They do not do quality work and clearly could care less to respond to any messages or voicemails.

We worked with Jeff Struck on a new siding job for our home. After meeting with many companies, we…read morechose Jeff not because he was the cheapest, which he wasn't, he also wasn't the most expensive, but for the simple fact that he was down to earth. We felt an immediate connection with him. The project took longer than expected. Jeff felt the need to work 3hrs on one of the last warmer days, just days prior to Thanksgiving to play golf. Personally, I would have thought working longer on a warmer day would be something you would want to get the job done. However, we accepted this behavior as it really had no impact on us. Upon completion of the project, Jeff stated how he is always available, stands true to his work and if there were any issues he would come back. I guess that stands true until there is actually an issue. His clean up around the property was mediocre with a tremendous amount of visible nails on my patio. He damaged a new piece of trim when removing my front railing and said it would come out. However it's plastic and legit damaged. Not scuffed. The piece needs to be replaced. My husband noticed a gap between one of the sides of the house and the roof. The trim around our front bay window is all dented and does not look complete or new for that matter. All the white soffits and trim around garage doors and windows are literally black from the dirt from their hands when installing. All of which Jeff said upon completion they go and clean it all. We even had coffee drip marks from when they were on the scaffold all over the new trim above the garage doors. Clearly the cleaning process was skipped. Even with these concerns, the worst part about it all was Jeffs lack of communication and attitude when these concerns were addressed. Not once did he pick up the phone to call my husband or I, everything was communicated via text. At one point he mentioned that these were nothing concerns and he honestly feels his work at our home was done. He mentioned that he went above and beyond with something outside of what we hired him for, however at the time never brought it up or said there would be an additional charge, which if so we would have paid. He removed a wall air conditioner so that we can side over the hole. The exchange of texts actually got very nasty and disrespectful. Not something you would expect when his words stated that he stood by his work and any concerns just call him. The job was completed end of November 2021 and 3 months later, Jeff has continued to ghost us. Our last text was how he wanted to make good on his work and reputation and that he would contact us this past weekend. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and not a word, hence for this review. Overall the house looks good, minus the front bay window and front trim by the front door. So upsetting that it has to be in the front Of the house. This review was about the kind of person Jeff is, not necessarily about the work. Stuff happens, we are all human. Just own up to it, fix it and be done with it. This was a huge project for us and Jeffs attitude has taken away from us enjoying what we just spent thousands of dollars on. Personally, I would never hire someone like Jeff to work on anything for you.
