After more than a year of applications by TruGreen our lawn was absolutely fried. Fried. Our neighbor utilized a different service and although she never waters her lawn it was green and looked nice. Ours? Fried. Brown patches, a variety of weeds, crab crass, and did I say fried? I called Evan, a local supervisor, after sending him some pics. We chatted a few hours later and the bottom line is he said it just looked like it needed water. Wrong. Not being watered enough can cause browning, sure, dry grass, sure, but ours was FRIED and had the weeds and crab grass etc. I told him that. And told him our neighbor didn't water anything and hers looked good. Without offering to come look at it to see what I meant he just stuck to his guns that it probably just needed water. Lazy. Worse than ineffective, harmful to the lawn - TruGreen. Told him to cancel the account. I have no doubt our lawn would have looked better had they never touched it. Moving on.

DONT DO IT DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY I like many other have been I see on here was majorly…read moredisappointed in TruGreen not only did they not treat my yard after calling and having them do a Reservice my yard only got worse the only thing the did manage to kill was my garden I have raised grow beds they decided to spray them and kill all my wife's herbs she was growing I prepaid my service right around $600 spoke to several customer care people supervisors managers was reassured that all my problems would be taken care of but not even close I was able to get my money back for the services that hadn't been done yet but they told me I was out of luck on the other money because they don't do refunds for services that had been completed even if they didn't do it properly if I can give ADVISE to one's reading this go with another company I did after this and they performed amazingly with in 1 visits from weedman out of Springfield Iv seen a major decline in the weeds that TruGreen couldn't handle I'm not telling you to go with weedman just not true green save you're time money and sanity
