Three phone calls to a number listed for emergencies. No answer and no response on 6+ hours. They evidently don't have or offer emergency services. They just write about. Dentists in the Blairsville work only 3-4 ft days per week. None actually provide such service. None are truthfully in their advertising. As with most medical services in Union County, Blairsville, it's all about the money evidently.

let me start first by saying i am TERRIFIED going to the dentist!!!…read more dr putnam was nice enough, i liked that it's a family run office....kind of felt that dr putnam wasn't really the one in charge.... i came in with a toothache and figured getting it pulled would be the easiest..... first, they did the x-rays wrong....i never had wisdom teeth, and my mouth is small....i've always had to have them use the child size bite-wings because the adult size won't fit in my mouth....tried to tell them this, and they ignored me.....actually hurt my jaw trying to bite onto it.... after i kept expressing concern over the procedure of having my tooth pulled, numbing and making sure that we had a SAFE signal in case i was in pain.... with no explanation, dr putnam decided he wasn't going to continue.....NO EXPLANATION WHY..... i really didn't think i was out of line or being unreasonable regarding my fears....after all....IT'S MY MOUTH!!!!! i ended up going to a different dentist, dr newborn at worthy family dentistry in hiawassee where they took a panoramic x-ray (after looking at the original which DIDN'T SHOW THE WHOLE TOOTH) and they were patient and answered ALL my questions regarding my tooth.... turns out because it's a molar with really deep roots i have to go to a specialist anyway.....they were completely understanding my concerns and wondered why my questions went unanswered at dr putnams.... at least they only charged me for the x-ray.... i would not recommend them.....

I am new in town and made an appointment to see Dr. Adams who was referred to me. I was told he…read morewasn't seeing new patients and that I would need to see Dr. Joyce Kim. I told Dr. Kim that I had a loose molar and an abscess on another tooth. She checked my tooth and said it was loose and needed to be extracted and an implant inserted. She also looked at my other tooth and said I had an abscess and prescribed antibiotics. I asked her when they could do the extraction and implant and she said that they don't do that and she recommended another dentist. No X-rays were taken and she didn't check any other teeth. The examination was over and I went to get the prescription. I was told that my bill was $75.00 to tell me what I already knew. I paid it and got the prescription. Two weeks later the tooth where the abscess was started aching. I called on Friday at 4:30 and the message said they close at 4:00. I left my message about the toothache and haven't received a call back. Not very professional in any manner. I wouldn't recommend Joyce Kim to anyone.
