I love Slime, but he had an extreme case of separation anxiety. I couldn't be in another room or right outside the door without him crying for me. He cried dramatically for hours, despite ensuring that his needs were met (food, water, and potty time). Yes, I know it hurts to have your dog cry for you. If he acted like this while I was still home, imagine how he would have been while I am at school? I took the time to find a reputable, and trustworthy dog trainer. I reached out to James. He explained to me the options of getting my dog trained. I choose to undergo the Board and Room Program, which is about 4 weeks. The 4 weeks flew by, and it was finally time to pick up Slime. I was filled with joy and held back my tears to not only be reunited with my little buddy, but to also see how much growth he has done. I was impressed and proud of the dog that my Slime has become. However, as with most things with life, it is not just a one and done deal, it is a continuous work in progress. James is a miracle worker who understands dogs on a deeper level than most of us could ever understand. I look forward to continuing using James' services in the future. I just came by to PetSmart and it's been a while since my last visit. They still do pet hotels and…read morecat adoptions, which is good for those who want to own a cat or leave their pets there if you're on a vacation and that you have no one you know who can take care of them. Also went by the hamsters and areas where they have small pets. Some seemed to be adopted already since I can't find any of them. This store is good for pet services and other essentials for your pets. I can't think of any other pet store in Fremont, but this is the one I know so far.

Overall, got the food discounted, an extra stick, a token for the self service dog wash, and they donated $20 to the shelter. Awesome! Tito was so reactive that we had to warn anyone who came over, and we were constantly on edge. Beth stepped in and gave us not just hope, but actual tools that worked. She helped us understand Tito in a way we never had before, and the difference in him -- and in our home -- has been incredible. One thing I really want to emphasize is that almost all of the work we did with Beth happened in our own home and in our daily routines, not at her house. The time we spent at her place was very minimal, and was always very calm and controlled. The real transformation came from Beth teaching us how to communicate with Tito, how to read him, and how to guide him so he could feel safe. She always says dog training is 90% people training, and that was absolutely true for us. She taught us how to be better for him, and that's what made the biggest difference. Now Tito is a completely different dog -- relaxed, friendly, and able to enjoy our home without all the chaos and fear he used to feel. Friends and family can come over again. We can breathe again. After my initial conversation with Haley, I was able to successfully work through the separation anxiety and cat reactivity on my own, then had a series of training sessions to address the dog reactivity. Before training, walks with Sophie caused me so much anxiety - we had to stay far away from any dogs to avoid the embarrassing meltdowns. Going on any trails near dogs was out of the question. With training, swapping her collar and lots of practice on our own, we now regularly walk busy trails and beaches and have fun! Sophie can now pass 10-20 dogs on Los Gatos Trail without issues. I've…read morealways had my parents to watch my many & varied animals, but wow, Coree and Wolfgang have given them tough competition! They've been incredibly caring, attentive and professional throughout onboarding and all visits. We've been blown away with their in-home pet sitting services. We have a wary and dog-reactive senior dog, cats (one is deaf), and a bunny. Wolfgang is incredible with all of them, and also treats our home with so much respect in the big and little ways (watering parched plants, tossing garbage in the bins outside, bringing in packages). His visitation notes make us feel so comforted knowing our pets are eating and using the restroom. We always feel guilty leaving them, but I know they're still getting lots of love and attention from an experienced caretaker who also genuinely loves animals. We feel the level of service The Woof Gang provides WELL exceeds our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

During our 3 weeks away, our son was here after work and overnight, but Mark came during the daytime to do feedings and walks. He worked around our schedule, sometimes coming twice during the day. We often have visitors, and our pup is very friendly with everyone, but he has a special love for Mark, as he is always SUPER excited to see him! This review is based on my experience back in Fall 2021. My puppy was 3-4 months at the time... we went to maybe 5 of the training classes and by that point, were so frustrated across the board that we never came back. Reasons for my 1-star review: -HUGE class sizes with 1 trainer. Supposed to be a class for puppies less than 1 year old but that was definitely not the case for many of the dogs. Not only was the trainer not able to give anyone individual attention, but my puppy was unable to handle this level of distractions at this age. The class is one-size-fits-all, no matter how young/old your pet is, maturity, size, behavior. We couldn't even get our dog to focus on us, definitely not able to train any behaviors. Clearly some older dogs were doing much better than ours but they shouldn't have even been in the same class. -Really dirty parking lot where the weekday trainings took place, which was even more concerning because my puppy was not fully vaccinated at this point. They didn't seem to be worried about it, but we were on high alert as this was also the parking lot of a PET STORE. Which meant a lot of feces everywhere and always a risk of disease or virus for puppies. -Training style was very harsh and not positive reinforcement. Did not let us use our harness and forced us to jerk our puppy's collar to get her to listen. That might work for some dogs, but ours was so crazed by all the dogs that she wouldn't even realize she was choking herself. Finally when we showed this to the trainer multiple times, he agreed maybe another tactic would be better for her. -Even worse than training style, EXTREMELY rude and aggressive owner (we're pretty sure it was the owner). It's one thing to coach us, it's another thing to force yourself and your style on us. Due to all the issues above, we started taking our puppy to the training and just standing on the outside - not actually participating in the training but just trying to practice on her focusing on us with all the distractions. For some reason, the owner didn't accept this and cornered us with his dog and tried to force his training tactics on her, which we were actively avoiding and it felt like he was trying to intimidate us. All to say, we didn't return after this. To be fair, I don't blame the trainer - I think he was doing the best with what he was given, but the program needs a serious revamp and the owner needs an attitude adjustment.

After three weeks the trainers dog bit my puppy again this time it was bad enough to hurt with a big pierce in his ear and lot of bleeding. My puppy cried loud and was scared a-lot to come out his father's hands for a very long time. NOW MY QUESTION :- when they cannot train their own dog how can they correct and teach other dogs ?? My advice to all new puppy owners please be aware and dont go here for your puppy training!

Our flight was coming in later than expected and she made an extra last minute visit for us to make sure the cats had everything they needed. She was even able to water our plants on a really hot day and left our trash cans out for pick up. She is fabulous with our two cats and truly amazing all-around! She uses an app which was new for me in regards to pet sitting, but now I LOVE IT! It is so much more convenient to see the photos of our cats when we are away, easily schedule our next appointments, and pay our invoices all through the app. Thank you Molly :)
