B4: Black Pepper & Garlic Beef ($15.50). V5: Nest of Fortune ($13.00). RN6: Pineapple Fried Rice ($12.50). All the food was quite good. The number of different ingredients,  especially in the Dumplings, Nest of Fortune, and Pineapple Fried Rice, were excellent and unexpected. My one small complaint was that the Beef was a little too salty, but everything else tasted good. They have lunch specials, too. They opened 2023-11-13. They bought it over from a previous Chinese owner who was retiring. The menu is quite different, but they kept the old claypot dish. There is enough indoor table seating and counter seating, but most people order for takeout. A husband and wife team ran Jasmine Garden in Niagara Falls for 26 years. They moved to this St. Catharines location on 2023-11-13. The husband is the chef. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. There are two high chairs for little children. Review 2024-034

I got an old fashioned and it was extremely smooth with a good taste. All the flavors are balanced & delicate yet lingers, stimulating my appetite to desire more. Service is extremely on point, everyone is warm & attentive, extremely attentive I'd say. One waiter telegraphed where I was going to walk, stepped back & apologized before I even noticed. I was pleasantly surprised at the attentiveness. Ambiance is upscale yet cozy, with jazz in the background. Perfect for family dinners & also date nights. The restrooms are extremely nice, resembling that of hotels. Honestly this has been the best chinese spot I've dined at, the only complaint I would have is that there is not an LA location.

Service was great, and so was the food. They offer quite authentic Chinese dishes alongside some more Westernized Chinese options. Either way, portions are generous, so maybe skip a side or share one. Prices are more than reasonable. We could even bring our own bottle of wine for a corkage fee of CAD 25 -- a nice touch. The one downside -- the menu offers a staggering 200-ish dishes, so be ready to make a decision. But this is definitely a place worth visiting in St. Catharines.

I was a little confused if they didn't have a specialty in which they cater more towards. We decided to go try the Hotpot option. Food - 5/5: This restaurant is so unique because you get to walk up and grab the ingredients yourself (if it is for Hotpot), except for the meat... they get delivered to you. The vegetables are fresh, clean, and perfect in every way. The choices of noodles are extremely wide. They range from ramen, udon, flat rice noodles, and so much more. The broth was extremely tasty too. Their dipping sauce section had a huge variety of sauces. I put together Peanut Sauce + Sesame Oil + Sesame Paste + Fresh Cilantro + Hoisin Sauce = PERFECTION! Service - 5/5: Amazing. Quick. Attentive. Polite. Everything you would want in a service. 10/10 would come here again, even if I do live an hour away. I've been to a fair share of hotpot restaurants in Mississauga and Markham, but Lang is the best of them all. Already craving it again.
