I wanted to leave a review for the other guys that are hesitant to go shopping. First of all, I'm a guy. I spent my life working getting beat up, cold, long days, dealing with nonsense, getting dirty, etc. If you're this guy too, this will make sense. This store is how I wish every store could be for me. The store was not that big, but it had enough stuff to look at. It had nice stuff, and lower end stuff too. Not crap! Just lesser priced. If you are used to buying junk clothes knowing you're going to destroy them, you can still shop here. They have really nice clothes that are comparable in price. The best part about the place is... things fit! I mean, you feel human! Not like some freak gorilla because you were just born a massive human. The clothes fit like normal people! They have your size! They have the right size! It made me feel good! I had nice clothes for once. And they are not stupid expensive! Average working guys can shop here without being broke.
The store was bright, clean and super organized. From sports kind of clothes, to suits, casual go out on a date clothes to visiting your girl's family kind of clothes. They even had pajamas, shoes, slippers, I mean they had it all, and it all freakin' fit. One time.. one try.. one fit.. perfect.
I went on Saturday before New Years Eve. The store had some people, but you had room to move around. The people working were the absolute best. Alyssa and Rodney at the Whitehall store, were professional, courteous, understanding, pleasant, fun and made my experience at the store super cool. These folks knew what I needed, they knew what to do for me, and I could not have been more comfortable being my "Big Gorilla Self".
I bought a new wardrobe of clothes that day. They turned my New Year into a nicely dressed New Year. Thank you, guys. Thank you so much. You were awesome and I can't wait to see you again soon.
So, for all you "Big Gorilla" humans out there, trust me. Go to this "DXL Store" in Whitehall, Pa. See my new friends Alyssa and Rodney. You will be a very happy big guy! read more
