I hired DW landscape last year to finish my front yard and completely re do my backyard. The work they did was above and beyond my expectations. They worked with my budget and my ideas. My backyard was just a grass (weed) hill that was very unattractive. They cleaned up and planted around my pool. They also built a wood fence to hide my ugly pool equipment and give me more privacy. The upper are we did slate with grass in between and a couple of trees that will be very nice when they mature. Down below where the weed hill was they put in pavers, a gas fire pit, grass, DG and drought tolerant plant. All of the irrigation is in so that I do not have to do a thing but enjoy and entertain in my beautiful backyard. Danny and his crew are very professional and get the job done! They are awesome. read more

Wow I just had hired this company 4 years ago and was very satisfied with the work they did on my backyard, so I decided to reach out again to get more work done. As a returning customer you would think that they would be more willing to work with, you or at least answer your questions but no there customer service has went downhill. I talked to the owner Danny who said he would get back to regarding my questions but he never did. If you have project managers who are not doing their job, then you need to step up and address the situation. I will not recommend this company as they are trending in the wrong direction! read more

After being let down by a couple other contractors on my backyard job I got Danny's number from a friend. Danny sent Robert out to give a bid and they got started the following week. Robert and his crew cleared the yard and installed addition sprinklers. In a couple days they were ready to lay 3700 sq. ft. of new sod. The job came out amazing. What really impressed me was that they stand behind the job! Robert has been back multiple times to adjust watering and even replaced an area of sod that browned due to being missed by my sprinklers. I will be using them again. Thanks again for all the hard work! read more

Danny and his team are great. I hired him to finish my backyard after I had to let my previous landscaper go for various reasons. Danny visited me numerous times to adjust my scope of work and tailor to my budget. He provided detailed, line item estimates in a timely manner... This is huge, my previous landscaper was simply providing one large number. This made it impossible to omit certain things knowing how much you would save. He also provided pictures of actual items that he would install. This was important to me as I had him put three separate garden boxes in. I wanted to make sure they would match my home. When it came time to work his men arrived ON TIME, wearing branded outfits. Their vehicles were branded as well. This was very important to me, it showed that they took pride in their company and were not simply day workers that Danny hired. I always had the same guys at my house, very nice workers. They were clean... Didn't leave food wrappers and trash on the job site. I say this because again my previous landscaper was a mess. Danny came out to do a final walk and was always able to communicate during the project. I am 100% satisfied with his work and will continue to refer him to anyone I can. Thanks Danny!!! read more

Me and my husband were looking to get our backyard done. It wasn't in the best of shape. We called 3 different landscapers for quotes. Danny was the most reasonable and he stood in our budget. Danny came up with a great design that worked for our family. I couldn't be happier with my backyard. We were so happy we had him do something's to our front yard. His team is amazing!!!! Good customer service is hard to come by these days but Danny and his team have it all. So much we hired him for our weekly yard maintenance and referred him to our neighbors. For sure Danny and his crew will be our #1 referral to family and friends. read more

Unfortunately, my review is based on the fact that no one from this company got back to me to arrange time to provide a quote for landscape maintenance. I called the company and left a voicemail message and never heard back from them at all. read more

We were so pleased by the work that DW Landscape did to transform our backyard! Danny gave us a quote that worked within our budget, a design that met all our needs, and was so easy to work with. Nicholas and his crew came on time, worked quickly, were so accommodating to all my questions and concerns, and did many extra things that weren't even in the original plan. We would highly recommend this company to everyone! read more

Great job. We have a small backyard but it was overrun with weeds and we had a hideous fountain made of large rocks left behind from previous owners that we wanted to get removed. I emailed Danny about a quote and he got back to me within an hour. He gave me an idea of cost from a photo- which was very convenient - and was able to come out in person to confirm a price the next day. He was very helpful in working with our budget, came out to do the job a week after my initial email, and got it done in one day (and finished earlier than expected). read more

Called but never returned my call. If someone has 5 stars on Yelp, they better deserve it.

Danny Whaley is awesome! We not only use his service for our weekly lawn maintenance (BTW, our lawn is the best looking lawn in the neighborhood!), we've used him on special projects like replacing our river rock and building a fence. Everything he has done has been A++!!! I cannot even begin to recommend him and his staff highly enough. Plus, everyone at his company his trustworthy and just plain nice people. Thanks Danny! Well, I wrote this once and it did not appear so I will try again. If the other one shows up you will know why. In the Spring we decided it was time to totally redo our slope in the backyard. We built the house 15 years ago and had a lot of work done at the time. But, except for the trees, after a two to four years the ground cover just did not look good. In addition in places on the slope it is a 30 degree angle and it would need weeded 3-4 times a year. That was just getting to be too much. We contacted several landscapers and nobody wanted to even look at the job as it was not "big" enough for them to bother with. That is except for DW Landscape. I got a return message from Danny in less than 12 hours and made an appointment to see him within a couple of days. He showed up promptly. While we had a general idea of what we wanted, drought tolerant plants, drip irrigation, low, low maintenance, we had no specifics. Danny said he would come up with some ideas and get back to me shortly. Within a couple of days he had a plan all made and came back. After a few tweaks in the kind of plants we agreed to do the work. The work started promptly and took three days. They totally stripped the slop of old vegetation (except trees), moved the current soil around, put in a totally new irrigation system, put down a weed barrier, planted 30-40 plants, and added between 1 and 1 1/2 inches of DG (decomposed granite). It looked great after they were finished and we got many great compliments. But the excellent service did not end there. After a couple of weeks a couple of the drips got clogged and some of the DG had settled a bit leaving thin spots. Danny came out and said they he would have his crew out and fix the drips and put down more DG. They put down another two scoops of DG! Now the slope is covered with up to 3 inches of granite. This at NO extra cost. Still more. A little later we thought there should be an easier way to get to the top of the slope and asked Danny for suggestions. He installed about 12 steps to get to the top of the slope at an exceptionally reasonable price. Also, over the next couple months a couple of the plants just did not make it. This is to be expected. He has replaced these plants, no questions asked, and promptly. DW Landscape will do things right. No job, no matter how careful one is, gets done without minor hiccups. It's to be expected. It is how your contractor handles these hiccups that is most important. Danny and his crew want to please the customer and have shown top quality care in the work we had done. I could not recommend them any more than saying this, they get the work done at a reasonable price, in a very reasonable time, and will make sure you are quite satisfied. Later on in early July I had another contractor install artificial turf. As part of the SoCal Water Smart rebate program they send someone out to inspect the turf before you can get the rebate. The person loved our yard and especially made reference to the slope being very well done. She said this even though it was not a part of the rebate program. She even asked to take pictures to share with the agency. This coming from someone who visits 15-20 yards a week. This is high praise. Ken Rancho Cucamonga, CA read more

After looking around and getting multiple quotes I selected to go with Danny and his team at DW Landscape. Danny was willing to help write an appraisal that would suite my budget. My wife and I had an idea on what we wanted to do for our backyard but it would of cost a lot more money. When Danny came out he gave us ideas that would give us the same concept that we wanted but would cost twice as less. Prior to him coming out I had 4 other bids and those companies never once offered any other ideas. What we had done to our backyard was the removal of our tree stump, a nice size concert slab poured for a seating area, sprinkler system with a drip line, planter area installed around the yard to hide the gray block wall, and sod installed. DW Landscape employees that worked on my yard were all very nice, respectful, professional, and always left my yard clean even though they were returning the next day. Danny set a time frame when the project would be done and he kept to that schedule. While the project was going on and when it was over I had quite of bit of questions. Danny responded back to these questions within a timely manner. Never once did I ever feel like I was left hanging nor did I feel like I was asking too many "dumb" questions. Danny and his crew at DW Landscape exceed our expectations that we decided to hire them as our landscapers/gardeners to maintain our front and back yards on a weekly basis. If you want someone who is very knowledgeable at the craft they perform then I highly recommend you to hire DW Landscape for all your landscape/gardening needs. Thank you Danny and his team at DW Landscape. I look forward to continuing being your customer. read more

I spoke with Danny the owner yesterday. Made an appointment for today at 6pm. No show .. no call. I even called him this evening to see if everything was okay. He has yet to return my calls. I hate waiting on flakes. I will change this review if he comes through tomorrow. So annoying and waste of my time to hurry home for him not to show up. read more

Wow, we are completely 100% satisfied with this service. Our hardscaped yard was completely transformed by Danny Whaley's Landscape. Professional, reliable and such hard workers. We went from cement to beautiful lush grass and garden areas. Grass, sprinklers, garden area and drip systems all in a short period of time. We even took advantage of their monthly landscape services. Thank you, thank you, thank you. read more

They're the very best at design, planning and execution. Well organized and executed, every aspect of what was a relatively complex project went very smooth. They actually exceeded our expectations on quality and cost. read more

We had our backyard completely redone to include trees, sod, pavers and irrigation with timer and lighting throughout. The work was done in a timely manner, and the quality of work was above avg. The workers paid attention to detail and were friendly and answered all questions/concerns that were brought to them. Danny was focused on our needs to make this a good experience, he goes the extra mile by ensuring any and all questions are addressed in a timely manner. Even after the project was over he was quick to get back to me, and stop by a few times just to check and make sure the new trees and sod are adapting and flourishing. In my past experiences many companies after the job has been completed, either ignore your calls or they are hard to get ahold of. Not with Danny he ensures you are happy before, during and after the job is completed. That is hard to find nowadays! For additional projects that come up in the future we know who to call DW Landscape! read more
