My experiences with Scurria have really been second to none…read more They were the only tree service that was willing to give a fixed quote rather than tossing out a number range. Even more importantly, not only was the price fixed, it was a fair price for the work done. Throughout the process, Tim and his crew kept me informed about what, when and how things were going to get done and gave accurate time estimates on completion. They showed the utmost respect for my property, and went out of their way to minimize any impact on my house. I would gladly recommend Scurrias to anyone who asked for tree service, and would use them in the future if I had additional tree needs.

I was told he would go by and provide me a quote by Friday. Come Friday EOD, I hadn't received and so I called to follow up. He said they had a spat of recent storms that caught him up - which is completely reasonable - and that he'd head there on Saturday. Saturday EOD comes and I don't hear back. My husband reaches out to say hey, if you're just too busy please just let us know because we have a timeline we just have to work within. He calls back and says I didn't make it today, I'll go tomorrow (Sunday). Sunday comes and he sends us a text message at 7 am (we're on PST, which he knows) asking for the address, which I provided the previous three times I spoke to him. We didn't get the message until 11:30 am when we first went to our phones for the day. We text back the address and he says "I'll pass. I was up there earlier today", like I missed the chance to work with him. But I provided the address three times. He missed his own timing estimate three times. But I'm the one who catches his attitude? I'm pretty shocked at this. It seems others have had better experiences but this certainly wasn't a good one.

They worked quickly, removed all the wood, cleaned up the branches and were gone. A couple of hours later another guy showed up to grind the stump down below the surface. He cleaned up and left. The next day two guys showed up with shovels and topsoil to fix the divots caused by the falling tree limbs. Again, they worked quick and cleaned up the work area nicely. Carl came by around dinner time, looked over the job and made sure that we were satisfied before payment. Nice guy, straight shooter and very good service performed in a timely manner for the quoted price. I highly recommend KC Tree Service for local tree pruning and removal.
