He came by and checked the length of the gutters and gave me a quote. It was very reasonable so I hired him. He was here for about an hour and sent me pictures of the gutters after. I wish he would've taken before pictures too. We hadn't cleaned our gutters since we moved in about 2 years ago so I'm sure they were a mess. He even power washed the driveway and the patio. Several windows still had visible streaks and water spots, and some of the frames and sills looked like they were completely overlooked. No because like the average contractor around town, you can only use them for one or two jobs before he gauges what he thinks you can spend and doubles it! I do feel like he takes pride in his work but I'm tired of trying to develop good relationships with contractors just for them take advantage in the end. Professionalism always falls short as well. Our first experience we had a written estimate emailed before the work began. The 2nd and 3rd experience, we were promised a written estimate and did not receive it but we took our chances based upon text responses.
