I have always LOVED this store and still do! This place perpetually smells of black licorice for some reason...I don't even know if they sell black licorice, but it is defintitely this store's odor of choice and has been since day one. This can be a good thing or a bad thing, I guess it just depends on your stance when it comes to black licorice. I'm on the fence about it...don't love it, don't hate it. I was actually at the Boardwalk today, killing time, and decided to walk in here, because I hadn't done so in a while and i saw that they had Christmas stuff in the store at 75% off, and they were also selling some Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day stuff (not on sale, but not badly priced anyway) I ended buying some stuff for Valentine's Day for the wife (to add to the cache' I already have going at the house) One item was seven bucks and it was a sign in red and white that reads, "I love you to the moon and back" (Awwwwwwww, I know it!) And though neither of us are astronauts, it took a grounded, well-rooted place like the Old Farmers Almanac store, to produce a show of expression that our love is truly astronomical! Awwwwwwwwwww! Happy Hearts' Day, ya bunch of star-gazing farmers! And thank you!

This past weekend my daughter and I came for a homecoming court suit. We drove from Texas, and while there was a little brunette girl already helping us perfectly fine, she kept getting interrupted by her boss, making it look like she didn't know how to do her job. At check out I mentioned how she helped me and my daughter perfectly fine and how she didn't need to get interrupted as many times as she did and the girl mentioned how shes basically always undermined. Honestly I've heard multiple times when we were getting recommended Kcoutour for suits that the staff always argue with each-other lol. It's just funny because these kids are looking for jobs and yes it comes with responsibilities and yes they need to be done but it is noticeable when the staff doesn't get along but its even more embarrassing to do it in-front of customers and they notice.
