Health Moves Interior: Dr. Eickmeyer's Eoffice is welcoming…read moreand friendly. There is a calm and relaxing environment including comfortable furniture, art decorating the walls and flowers. In the lobby they offer free water, tea, and coffee. From what I've seen during Covid, the staff wears mask/gloves at all times and the interior overall feels sanitary and well taken care of. They disinfect the rooms between each patient and require everyone to wear a mask. Upon arrival they have patients wash their hands and take their temperatures. The bathroom was very clean with soap, hand sanitizer and lotion available. I even noticed there was plenty of sanitizer across the office for both patients and staff to use. The front desk staff is very nice. They all seem to be enjoying their work and having fun chatting with each other. They even wear fun masks. Dr. Brianna (Firminger) Eickmeyer, ND: I was recommended to Dr. Eickmeyer by my primary care provider, and my first appointment was over 1 hour long. I was blown away by the way she truly listens and remembers even the littlest details. She even remembered the chair that is most comfortable for me in her office and made sure it was ready at every appointment. How thoughtful! She is on top of patient information current and past, paying close enough attention to make connections about my health that I hadn't even noticed. During my first appointment Dr. Eickmeyer and I discussed my medical history, went through current medical concerns and discussed plans for how bowen could improve my quality of life. She has made me feel important, listened to, and understood. She gave me optimism and hope about my overall condition. On top of all that, that she somehow is always in a happy mood with an optimistic attitude. I think it might be because she truly loves her job as a doctor helping people. I recommend Dr. Eickmeyer to anyone looking for a bowen specialist and/or a primary care doctor. She is truly a fantastic doctor who just wants to help her patients feel better.

My current provider is also good - takes time to hear my problems and makes sure to explain things thoroughly with me. Only thing is that often times I need to wait at least 10-15min past my scheduled appointment time before I can be seen.

I've seen them for a couple things, and my wife has also worked with them on some issues. My most recent experience was an intense rehabilitation (still going on) for a complete knee replacement. This is a knee that's been needing to be replaced for years (decades?), but I kept pushing it off with other treatments. And it's a knee with five previous surgeries of various types and severities. So, rehabbing this knee is not easy task. The PTs here are up to it. Easily up to it. Everyone here is patient focused, kind, attentive, knowledgable, thorough, caring, and professional. You have no doubt they have your best interests at heart. One of the absolute best PT clinics in the Seattle region. And worth traveling to get here.

I had two stints here and they were wildly different experiences…read more The first time through I somehow saw the same therapist every visit, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and very attentive and I saw a lot of improvement. It was peak PT. The second time through, every session was so packed full with patients that it was rare I received any dedicated attention at all. Eventually they just had a circuit of exercises I had to do on my own, or otherwise be stuck waiting until a therapist finished with another patient to tell me what to do next. I can't even imagine the logic in asking someone to pay for that complete lack of service. I ended my final stint early as one therapist in particular seemed frustrated that I wasn't making progress. Instead of adjusting the therapy, they just kept doing the same thing over and over. I eventually went to see another provider and after a stretch of therapy and medication, most of the issue has resolved.

Plus, their expertise and delivery of treatment are set at a very high bar, such that the other PT facilities don't even compare. The Owner, Diane, also a Physical Therapist, sets the standard for this high bar, and her other Flex PT therapists follow suit. Over the past 25 years, I've been treated for injuries due to overuse at six different physical therapy clinics. Of these six, three were corporate-owned, one was a franchise, and two were owner-owned, including Flex PT. At the corporate-owned and franchise physical therapy clinics, the cleanliness was questionable, it was chaotic, and the therapists always seemed distracted when they were working with patients. Lake Washington Physical Therapy amazes me with their professionalism, knowledge, and…read moreencouragement. My swift recovery is a direct result of their superb work. This past spring I was struck by a car as a pedestrian and endured extremely serious polytraumatic injuries. After four major reconstructive surgeries, and over a month at a hospital and skilled nursing facility, I was finally able to come home in a wheelchair. Shortly thereafter, I started going to Lake Washington Physical Therapy, seeing primarily Nate and John. When I first started physical therapy, I was still in a wheelchair, with very limited mobility, constant pain, and many, many restrictions. I cannot overstate the severity of my case, from innumerable broken bones to extensive nerve damage. Now, around four months later, I am walking again and back to regular activities like swimming, hiking, and even paddle boarding! Even more importantly, I'm able to live a normal life again -- play with kids, drive, cook, and I will be going back to work shortly. Nate, John (and Brandon!) have been nothing short of spectacular in my recovery and I attribute my remarkably short recovery (for the severity of my injuries) on the talented work of these therapists. The combination of mobility, flexibility, strength training, and nerve recovery exercises combined with the kind and positive environment cultivated at LWPT make going to therapy a joy. What's really neat is that each therapist brings a unique perspective but they are cohesively in sync with my progress and the excercises I am working on and are able to augment seamlessly. I'm excited to continue my recovery with their help -- true rockstars and life-savers in helping me regain my quality of life! P.S. I also wanted to note that the front desk staff were so helpful with my insurance hurdles and getting the necessary extra paperwork to ensure that my therapy sessions would be fully covered (as they should be due to my insurance plan and circumstance) but insurance was dragging their heels. Shout out to front desk staff!
