As a soon to be new resident of Duvall in 2019 I stopped in to get a haircut and see what Redd's was all about. I strongly recommend booking an appointment, which I believe is now mandatory given our new normal in 2020/2021, but my first visit in 2019 was a last minute decision and I did not have one. Unfortunately they were booked solid that day but Maddy went the extra mile to personally accommodate me. The level of dedication to her business and customers was very evident and as a result I've been a loyal customer since. We ended up not moving to Duvall but that hasn't stopped me from driving 20+ miles to Redd's every month for a haircut. Thank you!

Faye is an awesome person and she is lovely to visit with. I've seen her now about 4 or 5 times with a few weeks between each visit. There have been some things we needed to work on but she was always (for the most part) receptive and would work with me on things. Todays cut, only noticing once I got into my car after the appointment - and not returning because the issue with this cut can't be rectified. I had mentioned having a first date coming up this weekend, hesitant to go forward with it, but after this cut it'll be a challenge not to cancel as a result. I'll post the photos below they should speak for themselves. The cut from my left to right side is vastly different and looks almost intentional. Super bummed out and will unfortunately need to cancel my next appointment. This is the worst cut I've received to date from anywhere, and I am not looking forward to wearing a hat everyday.

The place looks and smells and feels like it should. The staff is chatty and humorous, and efficient without being too rushed to perform a proper cut. They have devoted regulars they greet by name, and seem very happy to meet new acquaintances too. If you have a yen for a sense of community you can only find in locally owned and run establishments, and an interest in keeping alive traditional services that have disappeared or been largely farmed-out to mediocre chain stores, this great little barbershop is a good place to start! Don's barber is a walk-in only, no appointments, and the owner appears to be the only person working. Prices were some of the best in the industry at $14 (or $18). This location also does not accept credit or debit. So make sure to plan accordingly. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was empty. Don was able to get me in and out of his shop in less than 20 mins. Although the cut could have used a little more detailing for a fade, I thought the price was fair.
