The Sandwich Maker lady was so kind. She immediately fixed me a cup of limeade to bring my sugar level up. While dining in to enjoy my breakfast, several people came and went to pick up their meals. Several Fire Fighters also came in-to dine in. I loved the history photos on the wall. Looks like they have a great Owner that is well respected. I look forward to returning here next time I am back in the area. Pros: the Sandwich Maker lady and the delicious breakfast pita. Cons: road construction going on out front. Don't let it discourage you. Recommend:absolutely

The steak n sack was similar to a Philly cheesesteak- moist and delicious! The roast beef was real roast beef (well done) with the home made flavor and deliciousness. I prefer med rare, and never mentioned that so I'm unsure if they offer different, but will ask next time! The kids were happy to have hotdogs, chips and the best limeade! We will be back!

The online menu was a help, but seemed outdated. I have to say even for the drive it was worth it to me. Since I have never been here I took a few minutes to go over the menu, there's a lot to choose from ( love that!) I decided on the shrimp wing combo, fries, and corn-on-the-cob as my sides. The staff was very attentive and helped with any questions, even gave suggestions on pairings. The place wasn't busy as for patrons eating in, but the to-go orders were non-stop! That let me know something good was going to out of this drive. The shrimp were butterflied that is a must for me, and tender, the fries were just standard fries, but they were cooked perfectly, and the corn was the best surprise for me. I expected a hard piece of corn with no flavor, but oh no this was nice and soft nothing needed but butter, so good. So much food , I truly am looking forward to another trip back. The decor I enjoyed, it definitely gave the we are seafood vibe, the music was on point. I was moving in my seat and didn't feel bad about it. Don't sleep on this establishment, they are worth the trip!

Waited about 10-12 minutes for my food which was fine. It was hot and ready to go when the lady called by number. The eggs are cooked to for a beautiful little picket that all the ingredients fit into nicely. Oh did I mention they have cubed potatoes inside as well? Delicious!! The grits were very nice, warm and soft but not a liquid. The cheese kn the bottom took a bit of storing to mix in but that's fine. I paired my meal with a nice root beer and called it a morning. The only downside for me was that the toast comes with jelly and not butter. But alas you can't win them all. I bet there was butter kn the counter I overlooked. They do give you amazing napkins. Actual nice thick napkins. None of that tissue paper disguised as a way to clear debris off your mouth garbage. This place is a nice stop for a fair priced breakfast, $15 with tip, at a decent speed. The pork chop looked good, but it didn't seem seasoned, and there wasn't enough gravy on it to really be considered smothered. My husband's soda also had a strange aftertaste, which wasn't pleasant. I know every restaurant can have an off day, and because we've had great experiences here in the past, we'll definitely give them another chance.
