The four jumbo wings came out piping hot and so crispy! For my meal, I had the brisket grilled cheese with its delicious combination of cheeses and French onion soup. One of my dining guests ordered lamb with mac and cheese and spinach. I tasted the lamb, and it was incredibly tender! They also raved about the mac and cheese. Another guest ordered the oxtail Rasta pasta, which I sampled, and it was absolutely delicious. Another enjoyed waffles, and we also tried the cornbread with strawberry butter. I appreciated that the cornbread was lightly sweetened and not overly sweet. The lavender lemonade was another hit, with just the right amount of sweetness. What I really appreciated was the hospitality. Because we were traveling from Philadelphia, traffic was unpredictable. The staff graciously allowed me to adjust our reservation while waiting for my guests to arrive and seated us at the next available table once everyone was there. That was greatly appreciated! If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend making reservations in advance. For larger groups, call the restaurant directly and plan as early as possible because they get extremely busy. They also have a separate takeout area with seating where you may be able to order and enjoy your food if you don't have a reservation.
