I visited this thrift store in Menifee today with my boyfriend and nephew. My nephew and I love…read morebonding over thrift stores because we enjoy vintage items and old-school fashion, so we were excited to shop here. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When we entered, I politely said hello, but instead of being greeted back, the employees just stared at us. We continued shopping and found some jeans my nephew really liked. After waiting patiently in line, we got to the register and were told the jeans could not be sold because they weren't priced. We politely asked if they could simply price the item, especially since it was sitting out on the sales floor with similar jeans nearby, but the cashier refused. Another employee then joined in and firmly repeated that they would not sell them. I don't understand how a thrift store selling donated items--especially one that claims to raise money for those in need--would refuse a sale over something that could have easily been resolved. What made the experience worse was the clear difference in attitude. The cashier was warm and friendly to the older white man in front of us, but cold and dismissive toward us. We received no customer service despite being polite the entire time and simply trying to purchase clothing. It's unfortunate because if not for how we were treated at checkout, we would have gladly returned. Sadly, after this experience, we won't be back.

Their prices are high to me however you might find a gem every now and then. The selection is great. The place is clean. They actually have 2 stores, one for furniture and seasonal, the other for clothes, shoes and Knick knacks. You just never know what you'll find, like a cat toileting training for $50!
