Thought I found a top notch coffee spot in Justin until:…read more My wife and I always order our espresso beverages with half and half (breve), and are very accustomed to the flavor profile. We have had exceptional White Mochas, and Cappuccinos at Higher grounds, until recently. Something about the flavor of our drink was off, and reminded me of the flavor of (great value brand half and half), which is disgustingly gross, and cannot stand that stuff, as it makes me want to toss my cookies. The next time I ordered, I paid attention to the process, and sure enough, and to my unbelief, out came (great value brand half and half). I informed the barista, that I am not able to drink that, and I had to switch to something else, because I can't stomach that nasty half an half. I hope they discontinue this practice or I'll have to find another coffee place. To continue producing a quality product, you must use quality ingredients. To cut corners and use substandard ingredients, may save the owner a few bucks, but will cost them more in the long run, by losing customers.

The staff is incredibly friendly - just genuinely kind, welcoming people who make your morning better. The coffee is amazing, and my son is obsessed with their breakfast burritos. They're technically like half a burrito, but somehow packed full. I don't know how they do it, but it's one of his favorite morning stops before school. The vibe is one of my favorite things about this place. It's quiet, quaint, and just feels good to be in. If you ever need a spot to get out of the house and work for a bit, this is a great option. I've also seen small groups and Bible studies meeting here, which just adds to that community feel. It's a local gem here in Justin, and I absolutely love supporting businesses like this. Highly recommend.

This location on Northwest Highway in Grapevine is no different, and what made me visit this location was the grand size that differed from the ones I usually go to in the Central Valley in California honestly. Shoutout to the Dutch Bros team in the Northwest Highway one who took our order promptly, and made our drinks in an early fashion. I got my usual drink from the secret menu -- my favorite Banana Bread breve, with less ice, while my friend got a Vampire Slayer with the green tea base and regular ice (in order to create enough balance). We were in and out of the Dutch Bros line very quickly -- and in an efficient manner. There were enough parking spaces for us to sneak in a quick photo. We will definitely be back soon!

My family tried this before I could and raved about how good the coffee was for the last week. So I built up the courage and came in today. The lady whom I believe owns this coffee shop... was super sweet, very helpful, and makes some of the best coffees I've had in a while. As I get older I hate big corporation coffee shops! Making family owned and little shops much more appealing cause they always have better coffee at a much lower price. I love that she built this shop out of a cute trailer it truly adds to the unique (but totally awesome) menu and style. I tried the hurricane and it was so good. Their coffee is not overly sweet, which is just the way I like it. If you have not already, I would download the Dutch Bros app. It's super convenient to look at their menu while waiting in line. I'm always checking their seasonal menu to see what's the latest. You will find fun drinks like "birthday cake" with festive sprinkles; they even have popping boba. The weather is still warm outside, but I had to get my fall vibes on with the caramel pumpkin brûlée latte. The other perk with the app is that you can get a birthday reward. Unlike at Starbucks, I didn't go the day of my birthday, but was still able to claim the reward about two days later. You can also load money on the app, and conveniently pay through there. I showed up at the drive thru around lunchtime on a weekday, and my barista made my drinks very quickly. I'll be back.

At that point I gave up and left without ever getting my order. It was a holiday weekend, so being busy wasn't surprising but the shop clearly was not staffed appropriately to handle the crowd. They only had ONE person working the espresso machine, which created a massive bottleneck while the line kept growing longer and longer. I understand rushes happen, but customers shouldn't be stuck waiting nearly an hour for coffee with no realistic end in sight. Management seriously needs to plan staffing better during peak times. Total waste of time.
