Imagine my surprise when the restaurant we ordered from on the road had a Dutch bros directly next to it with no line. I've been wanting to try Dutch bros for like 5 years now but the closest one I know of is in Vegas and it's out of the way + not what I go to Vegas for. This stop did not disappoint. My coffee was really good and the employees and vibes were just like it's supposed to be. Everyone looked like they were having fun, singing along to the king of California, 2Pac (RIP). Well, the people who work her were soooo sweet. I heard of them, because one was supposed to open in the east bay. Somewhere. Anyhow, they only have drinks with lots of additives. So I ordered two coffees. The first one was the lavender, nitro and the second was a mocha. The mocha was way too sweet. So sweet that I saved it to sweeten my homemade coffee. This lasted for a total of three days. That much sugar!!! The nitro coffee kept me up. I was so hyped up on caffeine, I went to sleep at 1:30 am. I had some coffee at a cafe earlier, but I could feel the caffeine from this and had some serious shakes. I could only drink about 1/4 of it and finished it the next day. So the coffee had two stars, but the staff had five stars. But, I had my yelp freebie muffin and they still wanted to charge me. I figured that I had already lucked out with my coffees. I'll never be back, but I appreciate the experience. And there's a barstucks near them, so, I'll just go there. read more

Stopped here at this location this past Saturday afternoon only because we happened to be passing by on our way home and line was not very long. We ordered about 5mins after arriving but the line wasn't moving much at all. I ordered 3 drinks total and didn't receive our drinks until about 35 mins after ordering. SERIOUSLY! The line was moving extremely slow. We had a kids smoothie that was so watered down and hardly a smoothie. Added blue raspberry drizzle and it was just so liquidy that all the colors just blended together. Just a bad drink. Also had golden eagle with strawberry soft top and it was basically just milk. No exaggeration, it was 99% milk. They either forgot to add espresso or split a single shot between that drink and my other drink which was just a dub shot add vanilla and 2 oz of half n half. With banana soft top. Normally that's drinks taste so good at any other DBs even the other location in Merced on Olive. My "Dub shot" had to have been a split shot with the golden eagle because not only did both drinks have hardly any espresso or flavor for that matter. They were straight milk! 2oz of cream over a double shot of espresso does not equal a full cup of milk. The soft top????? On both drinks was more like a bubbly watered down top. They tasted like a drink that has been left sitting out and the ice melted so now there is no flavor at all. A complete waste of money. When we finally got to the window it was so uncomfortable listening to the 3-4 employees, kids mind you, talk about all their personal business, moving extremely slow. And if we made eye contact they'd act like we were trying to ease drop in their convo. Like we were bothering them. The girl/lady who took our drink order was the same one who handed us our drinks. She was nice in a very passive aggressive kind of way. But how about you all stop talking so much, make the drinks at a normal speed with maybe a sense of urgency since we've been waiting so long and maybe we don't have to listen to you guys while making some crappy drinks. Trash! This is by far the worst location we've ever been to. If you like this location, your standards have to be trash as well because this service and quality is not even mediocre, it's far less. read more

Billie had her first pup cup! I had to visit Merced for work and this location is close to my hotel. Billie is the pibble my sister rescued who got to come along on my trip. During our morning walk I stopped by Dutch Bros to grab a coffee and treat Billie to a pup cup. The staff is friendly and efficient. The location is a bit sketch with quite a few homeless people on the streets even at 5am. The coffee was great, I have had the Cookie Dough breve, Nitro cold brew and I would recommend both. Got charged 2 times for my order was told it did not go through the 1st time to come back if it posts again it did and I went back just like they told me to and they did not help me they told me to use the email on the bottom of the recipe and they could help me. Came to town for family and ran across this Dutch Bros which I've heard of and always wanted to try, but never had a location close to where I live in Southern California. It was my lucky day! I browsed through the Yelp reviews and did the usual picture and customer recommended drinks peek and we decided on the Caramelizer and the 911. I ordered the Caramelizer blended with whip cream and caramel drizzle, and my gf ordered the 911, iced. She says the 911 is the best coffee she's had in a long time and much better than Starbucks, where we usually frequent. She liked that they didn't pack it with ice and overdo it with sweetener. My Caramelizer was very sweet, perfectly how I like it and didn't end up getting "slushy" like some iced blended drinks tend to. We also ordered their muffin tops, we chose the Lemon Poppy seed and the Chocolate Chip. They were very tasty, and although packaged they were moist and baked perfectly. The staff was all incredibly friendly and upbeat which was a very nice change of pace compared to most chain restaurants/ establishments you'll visit these days. They were more than happy to help us understand the menu and answer any questions we had. Really hoping they start making an appearance in Southern California soon! read more

Florida only has Dunkin and Starbucks really... i'm more of a dunkin fan but i was so anxious moving here because there's not many dunkin's around... I love Dutch bros as a chain but wasn't happy with this locations service. We spent 45 minutes waiting in the drive thru. It looked like somebody was being trained so possibly that's why.. Regardless, I just didn't realize I was signing myself up for what was not a quick drive thru experience. My rebel also came out looking a lot more red than usual. I think they might've just been heavy handed on the strawberry and light on the mango. Still tasted good though. Just a very slow drive through service. read more

Hitherto this morning, my husband and I had never enjoyed the luxury of a Dutch Bro's Coffee. We rolled up this morning to a friendly outdoor associate. I had thought I missed the intercom, but I was soon informed that friendly face to face communication was the Dutch Bro's standard. During the ordering process, the associate, my husband, and I discussed how oat milk is the most sustainable plant milk--a conversation that my husband and I did not initiate. Being that my husband and I are vegan environmentalists, we were delighted with the service we received and were particularly impressed by their associate who fervently voiced his concern for our shared planet while boasting about the great flavor of oat milk. We pulled forward after our transaction was completed and we were greeted by another associate. This one told us that she had contemplated her entire life this morning prior to clocking in at 5AM. My husband and I were delighted to hear her account of the day. We welcome human interaction and authenticity. My husband and I haven't left the house in weeks as we maintain social distancing from our friends + family. Before we drove off, she discussed how the Golden Eagle was her absolute favorite--but that she recommends it extra sweet with light ice. My husband and I will be back to try Dutch Bro's array of flavors. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the Bob whereas my husband is enjoying the Grasshopper. I'd truly love to see more of what this coffee company has to offer; spread throughout this small city. Where Starbucks is more corporate and stock driven, this company is more laid back and strives to meet customers needs on a personal level. From the moment you pull up to their order stalls they automatically do what they can to welcome you. They greet you almost immediately, get to know you on a small level, but most importantly they put in a true effort to get your drink produced quickly. Coffee is definitely their passion here and they do a good job with it and always use fair sourced beans and tasty blends to satiate all palettes. I've tried most items at this location, but I always seem to return for their blended and iced energy drinks, they are always properly mixed and never watered down. If you come here on a warm day, I'd suggest trying a Shark Attack blended, just keep in mind that it is a very sweet drink so if you prefer you can always ask for sugar free for many items. If you aren't crazy about blended energy drinks, you can't go wrong with their signature Aqua Berry Rebel, just be sure to grab an extra can to take with you. They are addictive. read more

But for their drinks to be over priced and not give you the correct size and try to gaslight you is not ok for what you're paying for. I wanted something different other than Starbucks on my way to Yosemite. I searched on Yelp for coffee and found many Dutch Bros. locations in the Central Valley area. I've been to the location in Vegas and I really liked their drinks! The staff are very friendly here so I'm glad I chose this particular location, not once but twice! Even on the way back home from Yosemite! LOL I ordered the iced Americano and it was some good iced coffee! I'm glad I didn't ask for any sweetness because I had the lemon poppyseed muffin top. Now that was a yummy treat! We also ordered the lemonade and that was just ok. Nothing spectacular. I did some searching and found a location in Arroyo Grande, Ca. I've been to this location a couple times, and everyone has been super nice. However, today my passenger moved cones so I could get to the drive thru. The cars were not beyond the entrance to the drive thru so I was not cutting anyone off. We put the cone in its spot. The associate waited for my car with her tablet and instead of taking my order she made a point of telling me the cones are there for a reason and not to move them this time. Did she then take my order? Why no she didn't. She passed the tablet to the next guy waiting and watching this awkward encounter so she could storm off. Basically, she didn't pass the tablet to the next person just to chastise me. The guy who ended up taking my order had no idea what was going on. He didn't know whether to read off an order I didn't make or ask what I'd like to order after watching Karen have her moment. Seriously terrible employee. So disappointing......there was a line in the drive thru and nobody at the window so I got out and stood for about 5 minutes before they even acknowledged I was there.
