Highly recommend ordering in the app. I placed my order 10 minutes before arrival and she was putting the lid on it when I walked up to the window. While at least 8 cars waited in the drive thru. Service was extremely friendly and pleasant. Pickup was easy. Just park, go to the pickup window and tell them your name. I got the lavender matcha latte. It was good but definitely could use some more matcha powder. The flavor was light and it made it taste a bit watered down. I know it wasn't from melted ice because it was handed to me as soon as it was made. It was also sweeter than expected like maybe it had a squirt of a berry syrup in it. My first time trying Dutch Bros! The line was long but they got me through so quickly. Their staff is super nice and friendly. I ordered a medium iced coffee and they offered $3 medium drinks as a special for their grand opening. I even signed up for their rewards app and have a free drink waiting for me as well. The coffee was great and made as I asked, not super sweet and I really appreciate it! I like to actually taste my coffee over all the sweet syrups lol. Horrible first experience with Dutch Brothers. Asked for 2 shots of espresso. Went through the drive through. Lady that greeted me in line didn't think they had that. Greeted with an attitude I assured her they did. Waited forever for coffee. When I did get it, I definitely didn't get two shots of espresso. What I did get was like warm at best. I went at 6:30 in the morning and everyone was extremely nice and happy and smiling in my opinion is the whole reason I go to get coffee because I love the positive attitudes of the workers and it just really topped it off. They had loud music playing, but it wasn't so loud that I couldn't hear it and it was music that I enjoyed. I got a plain cold brew with topper? They did have different names for things , for example they did not call it sweet cream, I think it was topper . I will need to brush up my Dutch Bros lingo before going back! I hadn't had Dutch bros before despite living in SLC for a few years. My family out there asked me to swing by for a fun sticker drop they were doing today and i've being meaning to come and try something! Pulled in and let them know the order which was 2 small hot chocolates. The person at the window was really nice and personable. They gave me 2 stickers and the drinks. It was quick and easy. Also, their hot chocolate is way better than a few of the places I have had in Jax. The chocolate tastes like it's better quality and has a richness to it instead of some of the kind of neutral or bitter ones i've had. I will say - I really like their lids. I know that's a weird thing to note, but it has a large nub for the drink hole instead of just being a divot and I did not spill on myself once while driving which is a bit revolutionary.
