A really good lunch indeed…read more This little counter-order joint has a handful of tables. Still, it's airy, and I didn't feel like I was packed in. The folks here are as polite as can be, and the price points are on par with pretty much everywhere else, including national chains. I ordered the whole brisket sandwich, which came on lightly toasted bread. First, I should have ordered the half version, because it was a lot of food. Live and learn. Either way, it was delicious, with just the right amount of sweet barbecue sauce. I'm not sure where they source the chopped brisket, but it was really good with nary a hunk of fat. This restaurant is not quick. But, if you have an hour lunch, you'll be fine here. (Otherwise, call ahead or get it to-go). Though I'm not a regular in these parts, I have certainly bookmarked this joint for future visits.

It was briskly busy, went up to the window and ordered some chorizo and egg tacos. The young lady at the window told me it would be around a 12 min wait so no worries there. She also directed me to the free mother's day flower table. I was a little skeptical at first but saw quite a few people getting their bouquets. While I was waiting the owner Maritza came up to me and introduced herself. She said they have been in business for around two years and struck an agreement with the property owners to stay at the park until her brick and mortar plans materialize. She also said the catering they do of coffee bars and their breakfast items are popular for many occasions. The tacos were delicious and stuffed. It was a real treat.
