So glad Friendswood has a sweet coffee spot like Cafecito!…read more I walked in during their one-year anniversary weekend and it was very cutely decorated with balloons; the shop's aesthetic reminded me of a place you'd find in town. The staff was very friendly and pointed me in the right direction for recs, and I ended up selecting a hot guava latte with almond milk and a couple of alfajores. The latte wasn't too sweet yet still had a pleasant guava aftertaste, and the alfajores were the perfect treat to go alongside my coffee. I'll definitely be back!

My kids and I met my sister and her husband there for drinks and a snack. They were having a birthday celebration for the shop being at that location for two years. There is plenty of seating and the service was great. The guy at the cashier was friendly and the lady that made and gave us our drinks was sweet. It's a very open space with plenty g of seating. Kids were playing with balloons and they have a little area with blocks and toys for the little. I liked that. I had the limited time birthday cake late. It wasn't as sweet as I expected but i loved it. The flavor was more coffee facing and that's how i like it. My sister on the other hand likes a sweet coffee. She asked them to recommend something and the guy at the register recommended the Ube oat milk late. I love Ube and to me the drinks was good. Definitely sweeter than mine but still very coffee facing. My daughter had the lemon aid and loved it. I thought it was tart but good. My daughter also got a blueberry muffin that was delicious. Tasted like cake. I got the breakfast bagel on an everything bagel bagel. It was a bit dry but still very tasty. My little man loved it and couldn't wait for me to take a pic. Since it was a birthday celebration they had party decor everywhere and free cake! I'll definitely be back!!

Seeing the fireworks last night we had gotten directions on a good place to park and view from the owners of this place. I used to frequent this place while in college to study. Now I drop in every once in a while to try their new items out. Now to August they have a summer menu, from which we got the lemonade pie, cookie butter latte and tres leches latte. The tres leches latte was okay, it was just milky coffee which considering its tres leches seems about right. I preferred the cookie butter latte as it had a stronger taste of the flavoring. Although I will say we got two cookie butter lattes one with oatmilk one with regular milk and in the oatmilk one the cookie flavor was much more prominent so I would recommend getting oatmilk in it, if you decide to try it. The lemonade pie was really though, I always enjoy the baked goods they have. We went through the drive thru, and were the only ones in line at the time so we were greeted and serviced fairly quickly.

The food was excellent, my adult kids got the Turkish Breakfast x2 and we all got a taste, while my wife and I split a Garden Omelette, because they are that big. Everyone got a different beverage from Turkish Coffee and Cafe Americano to Lattes and tea. Service was friendly snd genuinely helpful. It's an order-at-the-counter place but they still paid attention to us after we were seated, so nothing was lost in that experience. Flavor was the main experience. Everything had its own character and I can't wait to explore more of their offerings. Our table also included a waffle dish and a crepe dish, and nobody was disappointed in their choice. Heads up that the bacon is turkey bacon I believe to keep the kitchen Halal, but you don't go here to replicate Cracker Barrel, this is a different type of choice that opens up your understanding of brunch. I got a salted caramel cream cold brew ($4.99 for a small) and a Dubai crepe ($16.99). The value is okay, comparable with other places in the area. It took about 10 minutes for my food to come out. The coffee was pretty good but not memorable. The Dubai crepe was tasty but not as chocolatey as expected. The chocolate sauce on top is all the chocolate in the dish. The filling is just pistachio/kadayif and strawberries. Though the filling was crunchy and the strawberries were fresh, the crepe just didn't feel as indulgent as I'd hoped because of the relatively little chocolate.

It was clean and comfortable. I loved all the local decor and paintings everywhere. It was a cute cozy spot. The girls that took our order were really sweet. This will probably become a new spot for us.
