He stated that the original quote was merely an estimate and claimed that my home was "too large," insisting that I pay 50% more for the cleaning to continue and be completed. I see now from prior reviews that this appears to be a pattern of behavior with this company--quoting one price upfront and then demanding a significant increase once the job is already underway. This practice is misleading and unprofessional. Their preference for hourly billing over flat-rate bids for residential cleaning is impractical and rather misleading.

She was transparent with me about one of my showers having mold in the caulking that was difficult to remove and I Understood. I think she did a good job overall but I wouldn't call this a deep cleaning in my opinion. I think if you really want a deep cleaning you need at least 2 people. I think I paid $175 and tipped her $40 as well and I do feel like it was a fair price for the cleaning that was done. I was really hoping baseboards, cabinets, and fridge doors would be wiped down. She did a good job in my bathrooms and oven was clean inside as well but not my microwave. Don't expect them to sweep or vacuumed under furniture tho. In fact, the floor had a pile of crumbs on it and same for in front of the sofa. Downstairs in the primary bedroom, the furniture was not dusted, and the floor in the bathroom was not cleaned. I know it wasn't discussed, but also the laundry area was not cleaned at all. Which would have been nice to clean since she didn't have to clean 2 of the bedrooms.
