We've been long-time customers who prefer Dusals over the other pizza places in the area. Lately we order the Thursday special every week and it never disappoints! The food is delicious, fresh, and the service is efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Grandma pizza

Ordered pizza from Dusal's via an app and it arrived in a timely manner. When I opened the box, I see a very good looking pizza. Nice brown crust, cheese cooked to perfection, and dollops of sauce around the pie. I want to start off by saying that the pizza wasn't bad but when I bit into my slice though, I was slightly disappointed. It didn't taste as great as it looked. One person said it was a bit too salty. That wasn't the issue for me. I felt that the sauce was a bit more on the sour side. Not that it was bad but if it had a hint of sweetness this pie would have been amazing. The crust was cooked well though. Now I know I might be nitpicking but I do hold NJ/NY pizza to a higher standard. It's not bad pizza and I'm still interested in trying out their other items. Definitely a place worth a shot if you're in the area.

This is the spot if you like doughy pizza and no crisp. I like my pizza with crisp and a great undercarriage. Therefore, I did not like this pizza at all. The grandma pizza had a good tasting tomato sauce but everything else missed the mark for me. In New Jersey, you have a lot of great spots so you have to come correct. Thus, there is high expectations and you are also competing with the great spots in NYC. Locally in Milltown, you are competing with Francisco's and Maria's but you should most likely go to pizza spots in the surrounding areas.

everything was amazing but the diego wings are out of this world! and everyone is friendly!

Shrimp Parmigiana

YOU STILL GOT IT, BABY!!! My favorite restaurant growing up in NJ, over 17 years later, is exactly as amazing as I remembered. The best shrimp parmigiana in the world. Seriously. I had the same exact meal I used to eat...salad with French dressing, shrimp parm with a side of ziti covered in delicious marinara, and that hot, crispy crust, soft inside Italian bread. I love you Dusal's. Is the chef single?

Vodka Pizza

My family and I ordered takeout from Dusal's this weekend. Surprisingly, they still haven't opened up their dining room for restaurant service even though there's increased capacity for indoor dining now. We ordered two pies around 6 pm and was told it would be 25 minutes. We showed up 25 minutes later as our pies were coming out of the oven so timing was accurate. We ordered a large classic pie with pepperoni and a medium vodka pie. Both pies were pretty oily. The vodka pie was mushy in the center, making it difficult to pick up slices since everything would fall off. Felt undercooked. The pepperoni pie was okay, lots of meat. Not the best pizza I've had but also not the worst.

Dusal's is back and way better. The pizza reminds me of the original owners way back when. The new owners are so nice and truly appreciate the business. This is a must revisit for all that loved this place way back. The pizza is so good pic speaks for itself and the wings are fire.

We hosted about 75 family members and friends, and from the moment we began planning until the final dessert was served, everything exceeded our expectations. The party started with an incredible array of appetizers -- shrimp arribiata, calamari, crab cakes, fresh mozzarella with roasted red peppers and vine-ripe tomatoes, fried shoestring zucchini, and stuffed mushrooms. Every dish arrived hot, perfectly prepared, and absolutely delicious. Guests were raving before we had even reached the main course. After a fresh and flavorful salad course, guests chose from six entrée options: stuffed bronzino, sirloin, veal francaise, shrimp scampi, penne a la vodka, and chicken parmigiana. The stuffed bronzino was the clear standout -- the compliments were immediate and enthusiastic. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the crab and lobster stuffing was simply extraordinary. The sirloin was a very close second, with many guests commenting on how incredibly tender it was. In truth, everyone was thrilled with their meals. Dessert followed with three choices, and the only reason anything was left on a plate was because everyone had already enjoyed so much wonderful food. The service was exceptional. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. It often felt like they knew what we needed before we even had to ask. The attention to detail made our large celebration feel effortless and seamless. The beautifully renovated dining room provided the perfect setting. The design is elegant and modern, with tasteful finishes that create a warm and celebratory atmosphere. A very special thank you goes to Debbie, the hostess, who helped guide us through the entire planning process. She was organized, responsive, and truly invested in making sure our celebration was exactly what we hoped it would be. On the day of the event she was attentive to every detail and made us feel completely taken care of. And finally, Loucas, the owner and chef, embodies everything that makes Fresco so special. Not only is the food exceptional, but his pride in his restaurant and care for his guests is obvious. He came out several times throughout the party to make sure everything was perfect -- a gesture that meant a great deal to our family. While this review reflects a large family celebration, it's far from our first visit. Our company has held its Christmas party at Fresco every year, and it has long been our favorite place to celebrate special occasions. After this unforgettable evening celebrating my father's milestone birthday, we've decided Fresco will also be our go-to place even for an ordinary weeknight -- because when a restaurant is this special, every visit feels like a celebration. Thank you to the entire Fresco team for giving our family a night we will never forget.

Francesco Pizzeria & Restaurant - sad slice of mushroom and onions

It is the perfect sauce to cheese ratio... the crust is delicious on its own... perfectly chewy, just how I like it. And the sauce has that slight sweetness that I love. Also, my husband said that service is extremely friendly (he picked up the order)... The reason why it is only 4 stars is because the wings were some of the worst that I've had. Hard to chew... and they seemed to just dump the bbq sauce on top.. I think I'll stick to the pies only.

It was simply a mushroom and onion slice with no other options given on the app. When I looked at what arrived it was just absolutely mind-boggling and appalling, this sad excuse of a slice had raw onions and mushrooms haphazardly thrown on top. SIDE NOTE I just wanted to include that this photo was taken AFTER I had already picked off so much of the onion already. Normally every pizza place I have tried (in my 27 years as a NJ native) will just add the toppings with a little extra cheese on top on a cheese slice just to revive the slice and make it look appealing. When I reached out to the store, thinking they forgot and stating how unacceptable this was a girl who answered the phone said that this is how it is done, they don't cook the toppings unless it is specified. I was completely baffled and had never come across this before, and there was going to be a 0% chance I was going to be eating raw onions at my customer service job. She was very snippy and disregarded me, stating that the owner has been doing this for 30-40 years. I then asked her what the owner's many years of experience said regarding customer service because this is embarrassing and she nonchalantly said I could just file a dispute with the slice app. Thanks for the stellar service! I'll let the attached photo speak for itself.

Tonight, I decided to pull in and give it a shot. The place was packed inside. I'm not sure how word got out to the community that this place is really good. But it has. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a large chicken caesar salad. The pizza crust at this place is SPECTACULAR. The outer crust is crispy and crunchy and not even a little bit dry. The undercrust is also crispy and crunchy and stands up straight when you pick up the slice. The cheese is high quality. After just one bite, I understood the reason the place was so crowded. There are a lot of people working in the kitchen and they also have a sit down waitress service area that was full as well. There are plenty of wait staff running around and serving dinner. Everyone is very friendly and the gentleman behind the counter greeted me the second I walked in the door. Now for my negative criticisms and they are borderline petty. The sauce was good but it doesn't blow you away. When you have spectacular crust and high quality cheese, you would expect the sauce to be on the same playing field. It just isn't. It could probably have used a bit more seasoning. I understand that if you have a lot of staff you also have a lot of overhead. I am not opposed to paying up for high quality products but my large pepperoni pizza and chicken caesar salad cost just under $49.00 which is extremely high for this area. It's definitely worth your time to give this place a shot. But it's definitely not a place you can eat at often unless you're independently wealthy. Overall Rating: A

Lunch time on a weekday seems to be the perfect time to dine here. I enjoyed everything I ordered, from appetizer to dessert. I started with the calamari which arrived fresh and hot, crispy and lightly salted, and didn't stand a chance at our table. I ordered the ribeye "Bryan style" which tops the steak with goat cheese, lemon butter, sun-dried tomatoes, and possibly parsley. I enjoy a more marbled steak, but this was a particularly fatty cut. Overall, the flavor from the toppings really came together for a well-balanced taste, mildly salty and savory. The ribeye comes with a choice of soup or salad; I chose the Caesar salad, which was brought out prior to my entree. It's a good, crunchy salad made with real anchovies. Making sure to leave room for dessert, I ordered the peach and blackberry crostata which is an open faced tart served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I ordered it to-go, and naturally my ice cream melted before I made it home. I was mostly interested in the peaches anyway which I attacked while waiting for the check. I will just leave it up to my imagination how it would have tasted with the ice cream. Our server was great, attentive, and was available for anything we needed. I would definitely return to this location.
