There's always these huge clearance sale deals that are just to hard to skip. I can find snacks here that are only available in my home country (Hong Kong). They also carry so many different types of wine that are less expensive than other stores. If you have not been to World Market, you are really missing out!

They have an expansive range of snacks, some I'd beg my friends to bring back to the US when they travel. There's a good selection of Milkia chocolates, although I do wish they would stock some Swiss brands like Sprungli. They do carry Lindt, but not exclusive flavors. I don't mind waiting as they have many options. The real gems I found here are in the kitchen and dining section. They have some of the cutest kitchenware like strawberry themed jars, froggy glass cups, and sardine plates. For the matcha hobbyists, there are plenty of whisks and chawan bowls at reasonable prices. I've even scored two Hello Kitty cups from their clearance section. Nice employees here are definitely a plus. I prefer to be left alone, but they are quite helpful at the register. Take advantage of their membership for their perks. Returning for more great buys.

This visit was completely different. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to explain the coupons, rewards program and helped me download the new app without making me feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. It honestly means a lot to see a business improve over time. Not many places can change someone's mind after so many years, but this store absolutely did. They turned a negative memory into a genuinely positive experience, and because of that, I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you to everyone who made this visit such a pleasant one!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They offer senior discounts on Tuesdays FYI. They recently changed over to a new name back around November 2025 to Trudy's Hallmark. The manager told me they are no longer with corporate, or was it the other way around? In any case, it resulted in a bunch of things going on clearance to clear out the merchandise for new things - yay for me because I found lots of good things at great prices including my new favorite "Family Movie Night" blanket. I guess there might be a few changes, but I can't really tell. Download the Hallmark app to accumulate Crown Rewards points that are converted to reward dollars to spend at the store or online!

I believe (??), that this is a newer Spirit Halloween? I am not sure what business was here before…read morethat was taken over, but the shop doesn't smell like super cheap manufactured plastic, which is a huge plus to me. There's plenty of parking and they're opened surprisingly late, up until 10 PM which is great if you dined in the Eastland Center and want to walk off your dinner afterwards. I think, in terms of the other locations that I've been to in the past, this feels like more of a medium sized store, with way more costume options than the crazy huge animatronics and decorations. I wanted to stop by to see if they had those Spirit Halloween Trader Joe's dupe tote bags, but sadly not. I'm sure they were harvested way, way earlier before. However, the selections of costumes here is impressive, from lots of popular franchises and series (Squid Games, Terrifier, Spongebob, Disney, Jurassic Park, even anime like Demon Slayer and MHA) and it's organized by themes too (if you want to be part of an evil circus, a vampire, a pirate, a scarecrow, a gangster, something medieval, a joke costume, etc.), so this is a great place to come stop by if you're in desperate search of a cheaper costume. Again, as a cosplayer, the quality is not the best, but it works in a pinch. Some items are not too pricy, like a large bloody knife prop for $7 isn't too bad, but there are silly things like a plain white chef apron for $10 which can be easily found cheaper elsewhere. There's decor there (mostly scary and gory), some home goods like blankets, stationery, accessories and jewelry, slippers, and some baby and dog costumes. Overall, it's a fun stop if you love Halloween.

It kind of gives me the thought of if Pier 1 Imports and Crate and Barrel decided to elope, and this was the shop that popped-out. It gives the "Summer at the Hamptons" vibe for me. But nonetheless, it's a nice store. Smells really nice currently (October) with their fall collection of pumpkin spice scent bags and Christmas decor throughout their store. I didn't get any greeting from any of the staff though, but heard greetings for customers who came in after me. Maybe it was a one-off or it was off, but is a partial reason for just a 4-star. Greetings should be equal for everyone that walks in. Kirkland's is in a large shopping center and parking is aplenty. Worth to stop in if you want to be taken away by furnishings that you'll probably just adore from afar, unless you have a huge house, or mansion, for their many larger furnishings and decor.

She then says "um this lady wants to buy this". She could have easily walked up and said "excuse me, this is already being purchased, can I help you find another?" ANYTHING along those lines is basic customer service. Employee is an older woman with short red hair. Kirkland's has great items, but the experience completely brings down the value of this store. I wouldn't want to spend my money anywhere near that woman.
