Sedated kiddo, "swaddled" up in their "wrap" thing, laughing gas hose strapped to him, headphones and then an oversized mouth piece shoved into his mouth! he was obviously choking, gagging and trying to breathe but they ignored it!! I tried to intervene and ask them to give him a minute bc he was having an anxiety attack. Doctor became another person, rude, and frustrated with my son! not to mention this doctor had STRANGE behavior and I brought it to the nurses attention but she brushed it off and said, "Oh, hes just like that", NO! he looked high or something then looses my sons tooth immediately after yanking it out instead of doing a filling! it was too late and unacceptable, my son was in shock and agony due to this. please take your children else where.

When I arrived I was told I needed X-rays, I didn't have any, and so the receptionist said they…read morewould comp me some. I said ok. We went back and the assistant asked for my X-rays. I told her I didn't have and and the receptionist said they would comp me some X-rays. The assistant did not seen too happy about that. So we went into a room. Dr. Wang came in and started to look at his mouth and I explained what my wife and I thought needed to be done, which was caps on his upper two front teeth. And he agreed. He then asked me if I wanted my 3yo to have nitrous(laughing gas) and I said yes. So they put a tube on my sons nose and started, after about thirty seconds the dentist and assistant excused themselves, at that time me not knowing they turned off the laughing gas. By this time my son was freaking out about the apparatus on his nose so for the next eight minutes I fought my son holding the nose piece in place trying to get the gas in his system. When he came back with the assistant they started with their procedure, placing a mouth/jaw opening device in my sons mouth. I started to hold him in place. He then started grinding my sons teeth. My son starts screaming, and fighting. It was everything I could do to home him down. After about a minute or two they stopped took the mouth piece out and I asked about the nitrous, they turned it off when they left the first time. And my son didn't get and because he was breathing through his mouth and screaming at that time. I asked for more and they tried for about a minute but my son fought the apparatus resulting in my son not getting anything to calm him down. They left for about five minutes and came back with the caps. I pinned my son down they opened his mouth again. And he won't stop screaming. They tried the caps which didn't fit so they started grinding again. Blood is going everywhere my son is screaming bloody murder and it felt like he was fighting for his life. I got scratched from him on my arm. After about 45 seconds of grinding the caps fit. He then put the bonding agent in the caps and put them in. He held them for about five seconds and they wiggled a little bit. He pushed for about another three seconds then took out the mouth piece holding my sons mouth open. He asked me if I had any questions, I was so shocked by the whole thing I only asked if the caps fell off could they fix them. He says yes and then left. The assistant had the paperwork ready and asked me to sign then said I could make my way to the office. My son was still screaming. I had him in my arms. I was trying to calm him down and another assistant brought some stickers, but they didn't have any Mickey Mouse, so my son didn't want one. He was still upset within a minute later of the first time letting me know to leave they asked me again to leave the room. I hadn't even had a minute to calm my son down. The assistant left and came back about three minutes later to inform me again that I could leave..... My son was terrified. I was terrified, we both were in shock. We went home and my son passed out for three hours. When he woke up and we checked his mouth one of his caps had shifted. We called that evening and got an appointment for the next day. My son didn't want to go back in the dental part of the building. A different dentist looked at his caps and said they couldn't do anything for him but if we wanted they would pull out the teeth. So we left and went to a different dentist that is taking care of my son properly. Avoid this place at all costs. And if your asking what happened with the X-rays? They never took any. And now my son looks like "Mater" from the movie Cars...

I have a lot of dental problems, and some of them are consequence of unfortunate treatments by other dentists .iBut I have never left negative reviews for them, because things happen and even experts make mistakes once in a while. But my whole experience with Dr. Hampton was all surprisingly positive. For example, I came to Dr. Hampton's office with bleeding swollen gums and pain in a tooth. Was immediately seen upon request. As X rays showed, a post in the root canal was nailed into pulp, instead of the root canal. It was done by my previous dentist . Dr. Hampton showed and explained me the X ray where I could clearly see how the post missed the root canal and shifted into the pulp. .Eventually the stift ruined the whole tooth , and that's why I started having problems with it. I asked the doctor if the tooth could be saved. I had a big concern with the tooth.. There are missing tooths around it, and if I loose the tooth I would have to wear dentures.If the tooth could be saved, I could have a bridge. Dr. Hampton spent three hours on the tooth, cleaned all pulp , filled the cavity with metal amalgam and placed a new post. Later she made a bridge , and my teeth look natural. I am very thankful to her for returning my smile. . It's a human nature that when people are pleased with a treatment they don't mostly leave reviews. During one of my visits I saw a young woman who came in tears after a dentist refused to pull her wisdom teeth, because the surgery could have complications. and the doctor didn't want to take a risk. I was waiting n the hall and overheard the conversation. I guess things went well, because later the young lady left office with a smile on her face.I bet she didn't leave any review. I am not a dentist and cant say what dentist is more or less professional. I don't have the education. The only thing is you have to trust. I trusted myself and my family to Dr. Hampton and I don't have any complaints. Also I personally know some of her patients who are pleased as well.So, I strongly recommend her to everybody who needs quality care. They DO care.

They originally repaired one of my teeth, but when that repair broke about a year later, I was told it couldn't be repaired again under my insurance and that the work I needed would cost around $2,800 out of pocket. My wife has been going to Dr. Ian Sellers and has always spoken very highly of him, so she encouraged me to get a second opinion. I was skeptical because it was the same dental corporation, but I'm extremely glad I listened to her. Dr. Sellers looked at the tooth, explained my options without pressuring me, and was able to take care of it right away under my insurance. That was an enormous relief, especially as a senior citizen living on a fixed income. What impressed me just as much was his approach. He listened to what I wanted instead of trying to sell me additional procedures. I had previously been encouraged to have my wisdom teeth removed, something I was hesitant to do at my age. Dr. Sellers evaluated me and reassured me that I was fine without having them removed. There was simply a different feeling in his office, calm, respectful, honest, and caring. I would describe Dr. Sellers as someone with a very positive, high-frequency presence. I never felt rushed or pressured. I felt like I was being treated as a person rather than a dollar sign. For me, making the extra drive to Farmington is absolutely worth it. Dr. Sellers and his staff saved me a considerable amount of money, but more importantly, they earned my trust. Leanna at the front desk will literally argue with you about what's going on in YOUR mouth because "her notes don't reflect what your saying" she was the worst part of the experience. If you can get passed a rude front desk and have a year or two of time then this is the place for you.
