My neighbor and I had contacted Durango fencing to replace the east side portion of our fence, and the entire perimeter of my neighbors fence. Early on, and due to some medical and financial issues I explained to Jose that this wasn't the best time, but we wanted to at least take care of our portion, however we would need to make some payments to him if they wanted to proceed soon. He agreed that would be fine, and told me he would give plenty of notice when they got the job planned and scheduled. A week later I received a text message informing me that they would be starting the fence that day. I arrived home 15 minutes later and our fence was already demolished. I contacted him about the untimely planning and lack of notice and he assured me not to worry and he would be in touch with me for a payment. No problem. Two days ago he came by and I let him know I had the first of 3 payments by today and he agreed that was fine. After I contacted him this morning, he flipped the script, raised the price, then immediately changed to payment in full or threatened to put a lien on the house. When I called him out on his lies, he threatened to leave a negative review on our family business if we said anything. I have the texts of these threats and welcome the libel if he wants to go to court. Be wary, of a contractor that lies and changes the rules as they go. read more

So sad to write this post but I used Durango in the past and loved their work. Tried using them twice since, because I thought them great. First time, the neighbor did not agree to the bid. Tried again for a different project and they never responded. Not sure why, but wish them the best. Just be prepared. read more

Yeah.... Broken sprinkler pipe where they sank the post. Never heard from them. Paid some else to dig up and repair. So.... Great fencing just check your sprinklers before they drive away. read more

To anybody out there needing a new fence DO NOT EVER GO TO DURANGO FENCE!!!! They might be the cheapest but they're the cheapest for a very good reason. They will use the shittiest wood there is (full of knots, warped and cracked). They told me that they would come and replace the warped planks & NEVER DID! I called a second time & this time the owner came out (Jose) & saw their shitty work & again offered to fix it & NEVER DID! My gate doesn't open all the way, hinges are crooked, the latch's about to fall off cus when they screwed it on they split the 2×4. Pay a little more and get a fence that you'll like & that is put up the right way. I reported them to "BBB" so they're garbage. Avoid the headaches and spread the word to all your neighbors. They did an amazing job on our fence! When we first got our quote he was able to come the same day and gave us an rough estimate right in the spot. We waited a little to do it but he knew who I was right away and pulled up the estimate to get us scheduled. It was a couple weeks out but we were fine with it. Durango Fencing completed my first fence and did excellent so I assumed they would do a great job again, but I was wrong! There was a lot of separation between some of the boards and some were even crooked! Some of the boards didn't even have enough nails to hold them together. I texted him with my concerns and sent him pictures to verify what I was saying. He said he would have it fixed. Well someone did come back to nail the boards but did not fix the crooked part of the board. I sent him pictures about it and he said he would send someone to fix it. NO ONE CAME BACK TO FIX IT!
