Recently made a service call to fix a board on fence. In beginning hard to find someone to call back. Everyone i spoke to sent me to different people. Finally i got lucky and a representative answered. I spoke to a Supervisor, he was apologetic, and sent sone one out within a week fix the board. Seems like it matters who you talk to. It was accomplished online through video and he was able to assist with all my technical issues; provided a well imaged quote and able to accommodate my special request for at "cat portal." Communication with the vendor was efficient but there seem to be a lack of communication with the vendor and project manager. I had to request changes to the gates I requested because they were not what I asked for. The quality of detailed work could be better. Some pickets weren't level, side posts, nails looked like they were slapped together and weren't lined up. Maybe I'm just being overly dramatic but I expect to get what Im paying for. If I could leave no stars I would. Woke up this morning to a couple guys cutting my shared fence down. I haven't received a bid or agreed to any work and they're cutting the fence and damaging personal property. Knocked my lumber over and broker a couple pots. Then he told me he wasn't on my property. I asked the guy to stop until we could work it out and he just kept cutting. Had to call the cops. They came and told them to put the fence back and follow the law. In CA, the shared fence law says you have to have a quote 30 days before work starts. Just showed up and told me they were doing the neighbors half??? This company, apparently, doesn't care about rules and laws and....common professional behavior. On top of that, you have to call a call center who then has to try and reach the person you're calling. Just an all around lousy experience so far and the work hasn't started yet. read more

I contracted with this company to build a gate in my driveway. I told them what I was looking for and that I was not looking to pay more than $2000 probably. They drew up plans and gave me a bid of around $1900. I accepted. That was Friday. Today, Tuesday, they called to say they screwed up and price will actually be $3,100. I told them a company so inept would not be allowed on my property. IF gates are really their business it seems impossible that they could have made such a huge error. So far so good! We are at the start of our project however already the customer service has been fantastic. The process has been great and I have been able to ask a lot of questions without feeling like I am imposing or that it is a dumb question. Orlando has been attentive and responds quickly. He answered all my questions and was just real to talk with. When I wasn't sure if we would go with a local company or with him, he was the right amount to sales pitch in the response to remind me Ergeon's strengths without going too far to oversell and gave me the right space to make decisions. He clearly believes in his product to be patient and let the service speak for itself. At one point I didn't even realize I was talking with him because he was so quick to respond! Usually you have to wait but all through the process of quoting the job he was on it. When I was able to finally accept the quote, he called me within minutes! Again he was so quick I didn't realize it was him. Who gets back to you in minutes?? Orlando does!! All indicators are that things will go smoothly with the actual installation and I will add to my review when we have a new fence installed! read more

I do not write reviews, but feel like I need to for this company. Please go elsewhere for any type of fence project. The sales and estimate process went smoothly to lock in the job. However, the actual installation process has been a total disappointment. What was said to be a two-week install window has been two full months of project manager handoffs, installation cancellations, escalations that go nowhere, and a general lack of communication. I canceled the project, as I am done putting any more time and energy into trying to work with Ergeon. 0/5 do not recommend them to anyone. read more

Contacted this company to replace my back gate that was blown down. I was assisted by Jose and sent him all the information he needed (pictures and videos). I asked him for two quotes on a non-motorized and motorized gate replacement as he mentioned they do not repair the gate. I asked him about financing and he sent me the link through Wisetack to get financed. I was approved for a specific amount and Jose sent me the two quotes. The amount quoted for the motorized gate was going to be way out of my budget ($8000+) so I agreed on the non-motorized gate replacement. Jose asked me to approve the quote and as I was looking it over, at the bottom of the quote it was asking me to provide my credit card information. Jose mentioned that I needed to put my credit card information down to start the whole process and I didn't feel comfortable putting my credit card information on the quote. I was already qualified through financing for the entire amount of the gate replacement, why would I need to provide my credit card information? He mentioned that I will not be charged and it is only for identification purposes. I told Jose that I will not put my credit card information and I will contact Ergeon for further explanation. Ergeon's financing department basically told me the same thing that it is required even though financing has been approved. She also mentioned that another way to get the whole process started was to provide 10% down and that way I wouldn't have to give my credit card information. At that point I said no, no thank you. I will go elsewhere for my back gate repairs/replacement. I don't see the point for giving my credit card information when financing has been acquired and the amount that is financed will cover the entire amount quoted. In my opinion this is a horrible business practice and I don't understand why they need my credit card information unless they are going to charge me for something. It's very strange and ridiculous! read more

I had a new backyard fence facing an alley and a front yard fence adjoining my house with a double gate installed to accommodate access to my detached backyard garage. The backyard fence was installed perfectly. However, the front yard gate after a few months did not evenly close properly causing excessive wear and tear on the upper portion of the gate and creating a open gap at the bottom of gate when completely closed. I made several attempts to contact Ergeon but to no satisfaction. Not the best in customer service Post installation. Take caution. read more
