Initially…read morethings looked great but after about 6 months we noticed bushes weren't growing at all and some plants and trees they planted were dying. The sprinkler system they installed never did work well enough to keep things watered properly. They never replaced anything without charging us as they assured us it was our "soil" that was the problem (which they had prepared before planting!) so we paid to replace dead items. This spring we asked them to plant flowering color in our front yard. In a large planting area where they planted, nothing (!) grew. Of course it was because they planted flowers that need full sun, but unfortunately they were under a tree and got no sun. Dead stuff again. Last straw. After not showing up last week due to 4th of July (I get that), and supposed to be coming tomorrow, I get an email that they are "too over stretched" and are quitting immediately. Not sure they should be in this business.

Being short on time, we decided to have a professional come in and take care of it. We are so happy that we decided to go with Carrillo's Landscaping. It was a big job, but it was done in just a couple hours. The price was reasonable, and the quality of service was worth every penny! The crew was nice, professional, and they did a great job - much better than my husband and I could have done! They were quick to respond to my initial request for a quote, and the whole process from contacting them on Yelp to getting a free estimate and then having the work done was quick and painless, and only took a couple days. If you are looking for good quality landscaping services at a reasonable price, and you value hardworking, honest people who are good at what they do, then give Carrillo's Landscaping a call!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I gave them a poor review on their Porterville business. I am leaving one here as well. I switched from 1 star to 5 star because after I left a poor review they fixed the problem. They only put bandaids on problems. I would recommend to go anywhere else. Once again, they did the same thing as before. Did a job with half-effort, and then would not come and fix the problem with my landscaping. They would not come fix grass issues (left rocks and concrete under. They would not adjust the sprinklers that is wasting water, hitting my fence and concrete. We HIGHLY recommend Millennium Landscape…read more We urgently needed some immediate yard/weed cleanup done at our home. A friend referred us to Bolivar and Janeth as they had been doing her routine gardening and landscaping for her for some time. We were thrilled when Bolivar came out IMMEDIATELY to give us a quote on the work. He understood that we needed the work done right away. He gave us a fair price and did an amazing job in ONE DAY. We hired him to do our regular gardening maintenance. Their response time is amazing. They definitely do all they can to work with their customers, communicate any concerns or scheduling issues, and are always professional. Since then, we have been making some landscaping changes. Bolivar understands that we have to do one job at a time - as money allows. Communication with both he and Janeth has been wonderful. They work very hard to help us do all that we want within our small budget. The latest project Bolivar completed at our house was removing a brick wall and iron fencing and building a new one to restructure our yard. His crew was amazingly quick, clean, and treated our yard as if it was their own. Bolivar took care of sprinklers, piping for electrical and drainage (literally everything necessary) without us having to spend any time whatsoever overseeing the job or ensuring that it was done properly. They continue to work on our bi-monthly gardening needs and we will continue to hire them to do additional large jobs as we finally get our yards they way we have always wanted them while remaining within our budget.

The service was quick, friendly, and always responsive - overall great customer service. However,…read morethe quality of the work was unfortunately lacking. We recently moved into a new home with no backyard setup, so we contracted Millenium Landscape for a simple concrete patio design with a walkway and some grass. While we had no issues with the grass, our concrete is a quite an embarrassing mess. It's been about 5 months since the concrete has been 'drying' and not only is it warped in some areas, it is spotted everywhere and never fully dried (we assume). Drains were added as well, but the water doesn't run to the drains, and in one case the water actually pools right next to a drain. We appreciate the hard work put into something like this, but for how much we paid, and given this is our first home, it was quite disappointing. Our neighbor had the same type of work done by a different contractor and it looks amazing compared to ours. Anyway, use caution when considering any type of concrete work done.
