Vlad and his team are extraordinary in more ways than I can probably describe in a (brief) review…read more He and his team stepped in during a complicated and very demanding bathroom repair and remodel, and in every way, at every iteration and step of managing the project distinguished himself as easily the best contractor that my wife and I have ever worked with. And that is having built two homes and many remodels as well as construction projects outside of our own homes. Vlad and his brothers and the people he hires to work alongside him are the most professional and meticulous craftsmen we have ever worked with. They are profoundly respectful of our home and workspace, and there was not a single instance where we worried about damage to our home, as they made sure every surface was protected and clean at the end of every day. To say that they take their workmanship seriously is an understatement. They hold themselves to a standard that is unlike any I have ever experienced. At many points during the project without being asked, they redid framing and other elements of the project so that their own work would not be compromised in the slightest. I could write volumes about how they took a very challenging project potentially fraught with many potential wrong turns and brought it to completion with such calm and respectful competency that my wife and I still comment almost daily on how good of an experience it was. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone.

And we can literally feel the difference with the insulation that was missing/ that they thoughtfully added in the wall. Vladimir was kind and accommodating throughout-- kept us in the loop for the entire process, always checked in with us to ask our preferences for things big and small. They were tidy + super courteous with occupying our space for a week -- unbelievable work ethic, took their time where it counted but super fast and efficient with muscling through to get the job done (mindful of us wanting our shower back) Literally could not ask for more.

This is in my parents home and apparently carpeting bathrooms was a thing in the 70's. Sam came by to have a look a day or two after we first connected thru Yelp and scheduled the job a few days after that. Sam is very knowledgeable about all types of flooring and shares his experiences and recommendations in a positive and easy-to-understand manner. He does not sell flooring but he knows how and where to get the right stuff. He was sending me links for baseboard at 9:30pm! Sam showed up ON TIME even after stopping by Lowes to pick up some materials I purchased online. Once he got here, he immediately started working and when finished he thoroughly cleaned up. He takes pride in his workmanship and it shows. His work and work ethic are first rate. He is now our go-to guy for future jobs.

It involved not only sanding and refinishing, but leveling the kitchen floors and lacing in new wood with the old in multiple places, several patches, installing all new baseboards, and some creative problem-solving to work the quarter round around the floor vents. He also built a new cover for my crawl space entry to match the flooring around it. Throughout the job, Mike was responsive, friendly, patient, respectful, and worked with a high level of integrity and transparency. He was genuinely fantastic to work with - I never felt like I was being brushed off or taken advantage of (as opposed to some other contractors I've encountered). We had our floors replaced by All About Floors NW in Fall of 2020. This is my updated review. We…read morereally appreciated that customer service the Kurt and Don both provided in the long process of trying to select flooring with just the right color, durability, etc. We are VERY pleased with the laminate flooring we chose. (Sorry, I don't remember the details of brand, etc. but I'd bet they could find it for you.). I was sad that I put a ding in the floor within the first month. We've had several since then -- dropped sharp painting tools, shattered a plate, child dropped a sharp knife straight down ... real life happened. I took a long time to give this review because I was so disappointed about the damage. BUT, the flooring looks beautiful, feels like real wood, the medium tones go very well with our oak cabinets and other existing wood furniture. I've come to realize that ANY flooring would be affected by sharp tools and knives. It has been recommended that I purchase MinWax markers to easily make the sight of the dings disappear - I just haven't done it yet. Kurt was very helpful in getting us a color-matched tube of a repair material -- we haven't tried that yet either. Installation went well: Gabriel & Miriam were the sub-contracted couple who did the work. Very polite, hard-working; we were very pleased that they were the ones doing the work. We can highly recommend All About Floors NW for your flooring project.
