Just a brief update here:…read more After posting my previous review, the Maidhawk/Hawkbright owner reached out to me to see whether there was anything he could do to improve on the service. After some initial concern, I agreed to accept the offer, a one-time free cleaning. Immediately, the owner asked "Ok, and would that be in exchange for switching the one star review to five stars in Yelp?" When I said that I'd be happy to review the new service honestly once I received it, communications died down and no one followed up with me to book the new service.

Pros: -Very transparent with costs -Great communication -At $35/hr, cheaper option than others that I quoted -Very good service -Confirmed time spent cleaning w/ me before billing -Totally online (no cash needs to change hands) -Super thorough job cleaning in bedroom / bathrooms Cons: -Sandra arrived 30 min early. Some may see this as a pro, but I wasn't expecting her for another 30 min and had to jump off a meeting early. -I noticed some areas that were overlooked so I had to vacuum again. Not a big deal, but worth noting!

I used Clearity for years...always paid my check and was told tax was included in the price. Last…read moreweek they came to clean my windows and at the end I was informed the price had gone up and if I paid by check they had to add tax. (Oh, but if I made my check out to "Cash" then I didn't have to pay the tax.) When I complained they called the office and I was promised a call back within 1 minute. I waited over 5 and finally just added the tax to my check and told them to leave. If you use Clearity make sure they tell you the price up front. The tax, no tax and offer for me to make my check out to "cash" was not professional. The fact that the window price went up as well (and I was not informed) was very bad on their part as well. I will not use them again.

I always look forward to when they come because they leave my entire space sparkling clean. It's such a treat to come home to. Their team is so efficient, they divide up spaces so the cleaning is so fast... When I work from home, I'll leave for lunch and they'll be done by the time I come back. And the work they do is flawless. I was literally shocked one of the first times when they cleaned my air frier toaster oven. I had **never** cleaned the inside of it before (just the removable trays) and after they serviced it, the appliance looked brand new, like it has just come out of the box. Similarly, my stove (a very old appliance in my rental apartment) had some black burnt spots on the surface - which I thought were permanent marks as they never changed despite my cleaning. I was amazed to see them disappear after W Home Cleaning addressed them. On a personal note, everyone at W Home Cleaning is such a delight to work with - it's easy to communicate and align on timing. Highly recommend them!
