She works in Courthouse salon on Saturdays and in DuPont cycle location during other days. She is very thorough and is extremely nice. Honestly I was not impressed by this place. I've had my eyes brows threaded at the little kiosks at the mall before that were better. My eyebrows were uneven (right brow rounded, left brow arched) and when I got home, I noticed several hairs under, and on the corners. The lady spent a good amount of time too, compared to what I'm used to. But the time isn't an issue. Can't rush beauty! But for the amount of time spent on the brows I was expecting better? The only reason I give 3 stars instead of 1 is because the lady was nice. She was not rude or anything. Just the quality of the brows, was not impressive. I could've asked her to fix it, but I was afraid any more threading would make it worse read more

I have been coming here for the past two years to get my brows done and they've always looked great. The last time I went I wasn't super thrilled with how they came out, but decided to give them one more shot. This time was even worse and I don't feel like the woman doing my brows listened to me at all. I made her fix them several times, and they are still a mess. I finally gave up trying to even out my own eyebrows and ended up here. This place was recommended by friends and luckily this new (more convenient) location just opened up. I walked in around 6 pm on a Tuesday and the whole session took maybe 5 minutes and voila my eyebrows are finally even! LOL. The lady that did my eyebrows was very nice and gentle. This is my first threading experience and I'm a fan. I'll definitely be back. It's tucked away inside the Courthouse Plaza (where AMC is) by the metro in between the entrance to the Archstone Apartments and Sawatdee Restaurant. They have a loyalty punch card too that gives you a freebie after 10 visits. read more

My brow game was on point after leaving Dupont Threading. Located inside the Courthouse patio area by Sawatdee, this shop is pretty small with only two chairs. When I stopped by there was a girl in the chair and one waiting. I got into the chair about 25 minutes after arriving. The browist was thorough and took her time. After I was done, my brows were 'on fleek' as the youngins say these days. Sign says they prefer cash but they took my card without any hassle. It was $12 which is typical for this area. Still hurts when I know I can get it done for $7 in NYC though! This location is pretty convenient so it looks like I'll be back! read more

Nothing new to say really, except I love Indira even more! I have only been to one other Dupont Threading person besides her, and this woman, at the Courthouse location was less friendly and not as gifted with threading. She also seemed more careless and eager to get on with the next client. With an important date approaching, I can't afford to take anymore chances, so Indira will be my go-to-person. She's so good--skilled with threading and gentle--that I literally hunted her down. She's at the Eastern Market location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She works at Dupont Circle on Monday, and she's at the Courthouse branch on Wednesdays and Fridays. Though Dupont Circle is the closest location to me, I still hopped on metro to get to her today. Besides giving me an ideal shape, Indira is helpful and nice. I had some of my face threaded for the first time today, and she made sure to warn me that it would hurt. Honestly, the experience was about as painful as the upper lip, which is usually the one where I flinch. Indira's expert threading means no pain for this sensitive area and less pain that I would probably experience elsewhere if I had my face threaded. So this five-star review is for her, but others seem to had just as much luck with other staff. Can't say much about that, but excellent service from Indira is reason alone to try out Dupont Threading. read more

This place is not clean. The tech used scissors on me and didn't bother sanitizing them after using them on the last person. I watched this happen. I'm never coming back to this place again. Also they don't clean off the chair headrests in between clients or anything. read more

Walking into this threading salon puts a smile on my face. Its gorgeous. The girls are also amazing! Quick, no nonsense yet friendly and super talented. They look at your brows and make suggestions that always end up looking great! I only trust my eyebrows and face to the girls at Dupont Threading. If you live in the Courthouse/Arlington area it is super convenient as it is right off the Courthouse metro stop and conveniently located in the retail space of an apartment building.
