Located on the Naperville / Oswego border where 95th St dead-ends into Wolf's Crossing Rd, this public park incorporates 33 acres of carefully planned and meticulously maintained space. It's the perfect answer when asked by your kid for the umpteenth time "wHaT aRe wE dOoOiNg ToDaY?" This complex features a playground, splash pad, covered pavilion, basketball courts, sand volleyball, tennis/pickleball courts, a lookout point with sledding hill and a ninja warrior obstacle course. It connects to various biking trails and there's onsite public bathrooms with plenty of parking. The ~100ft zipline is a standout feature and draws a considerable line on busier days. Watching kids nearly get yeeted off into the bushes makes for great theater! I assume the weight limit is 200lbs so next time I'ma have a go at it (get outta my way, kids!) The only thing missing is concessions, as the lone pop machine near the restrooms didn't appear to work. I think there's enough people here on a routine basis to warrant building a snack shop! I'd love to serve nachos and root beer to hungry peeps, as long as I got paid $25/hr. * TL;DR * This idyllic, multi-faceted rec area is fully deserving of its perfect rating. Wolf's Crossing Community Park was built with young children and special accommodations in mind, easily accessible to all ages & abilities. The fam spent several hours here (granted, most of them were confined to the splash pad) and we barely scratched the surface. I can't wait to beast through that legit obstacle course some day when I remember to wear close-toed shoes. Ain't no way my clumsy ass is making it through there in flip flops. WCCP has tons of what we in the gaming realm refer to as "replayability", essentially, is there enough stuff to do on repeat visits? You bet there is! To name a few items, there is a sandbox, rocking boat, lemonade stand, small slides, firetruck with pull-up bar, and merry-go-around. 2) The other section is situated along Clarendon Hills Road and it is for older children. It is a large playground with steep slides, tall monkey bars, corkscrew climbers, rock climbing wall, swing sets, and spiralizing ladders. Even though this section is meant for older children, there is a small section for young toddlers that has short slides and ladybug and bumblebee rides. 3) There are plenty of parking for both sections and the both parking lots are close to the playgrounds. 4) There are tennis courts nearby which works out perfectly for our preschooler to have a small tennis session with her daddy before going to the playgrounds. Cons: 1) Both playgrounds can get crowded on the weekends. However, it is close to the library. On a hot, summery day, it is easy to just go across the street and freshen up at the library.

I did however love that it was sunken away from the parking lot and had a bike/scooter trail around the perimeter and a few benches on the pathway along with a shaded gazebo with seating for a lunch break. Overall it's adorable and if my kids were smaller it'd be on regular rotation. I love that it's here for the new mamas & daddies but it likely won't be the best fit for our family to often frequent. The playground and tennis courts are merely separated by a parking lot therefore it is easy to transition between the two. Our four year old has begun taking tennis lessons from her daddy and we usually do not have to wait for an opening in the morning. There are four tennis courts and they are well maintained. Our 2.5 year old does not share the same interest as her sister and her attention span is relatively short. So after participating in a few drills and playing ball girl, she would request to go to the playground. The playground has a rubberized surfacing with several climbing structures, four slides, a swaying boat, and swing set. The playground does not get overly crowded and there are plenty to keep our girls entertained. There is a sheltered section that's great for families to hang out when it gets overly hot. There is one small con though - the only bathroom is a porta potty by the parking lot. Fortunately we have yet to make use of it and I hope it stays that way.

This park is in a neighborhood so there is no parking lot but you can park on the street. This park does not have a bathroom so you can't stay too long. Overall- great place to pack a lunch and play outside on a beautiful day!!
