There are several covered picnic areas and lots of trash/recycling bins. There's a sledding hill and a stadium as well. The grounds were well maintained: clean, grass and plants cared for. On the other hand, it can be very quiet when nothing is going on. Good for big gatherings. The kids can run around and play. Best non sports related thing here are bathrooms. It's surprisingly clean. I appreciate the covered area with picnic tables and benches. It's a great spot to pause for some lunch (which I saw many families doing). There are walking trails that have stretching/exercise stations along the way. My kids got a kick out of finding those. If you have little ones in tow this is definitely a spot in Lisle that is worth checking out!
