Went to Duo Salon for a haircut with Tony yesterday and I just have to say how thoroughly obsessed I am with my hair. Styling today was effortless and every single hair is cut to perfection. I am ultra picky, and Tony listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. The shampoo service was awesome and the mini scalp massage was a real treat. Tony was a pleasure to chat with, and there was the perfect amount of conversation (not too much, not too little.) The salon is clean, well kept and the music was upbeat and the perfect volume. I have trust issues because my mom is a stylist and has always cut my hair. Since I moved, it's been hard to find someone who can meet my high standards, but I finally have! I found Duo salon while searching for a business that wasn't a bunch of rented booths with no receptionist. Rented booths is fine and all but I couldn't seem to get ahold of any of the stylists in them. I wanted to make my appointment when speaking with someone and not online. They booked me with Ember and I highly recommend. Ember was not only skilled in the cut but also at communicating and was able to turn my description into the style I was hoping for. I found that we had a lot of back and forth to make sure what I was asking for would result in what I wanted and small steps towards that end result really made it work out. Much appreciated. I feel great and I'm excited that I found someone near me I can return to. The Salon is nice and clean, spacious, and seems to offer numerous treatments beyond hair but I didn't really pay attention to that part. read more

I recently found myself in need of a new hair stylist. My friend told me she gets her hair done at Duo, so I thought I would give them a try. What a relief, I am so glad I did, too. The salon is lovely, clean, roomy, everyone seems very professional. I have short hair and had a not-so-good haircut before I went to see Tony at Duo. Even as short as it was, with his expertise, he was able to shape it up and trim it in all the right places. He shared with me some new products, also, for styling, which I think are great. I went to this salon for highlights. The Stylist, Grace did a partial and charged me $380 and advised me to schedule again in 6 weeks so she could finish the highlights and charge me another $380. NOT - I wouldn't go back if she offered to finish the highlights for free. Instead I went to "Hair by Sara" in the Salon Suites located just North of here at Blossom Spa (Next to Jabz). Sara Jones did a phenomenal job, not only did she do a full highlight she cut layers and only charged half. Do not waste your hard earned money at this salon! read more

I have been going to Tony for years and it is great to see him out on his own in a brand new salon. As soon as you walk in you are greeted warmly by Joey who offers you some wonderful hospitality. You can tell they are genuinely glad to see you and welcome you as a client. Eveything is modern, clean, and brand new. It's a great atmosphere where Tony and the other stylists can provide the styling services you are looking for. This is an awesome new location for established and experienced stylists. I've been going to Tony Corbo for about 15 years. He's a really good stylist who knows and understands his craft.
