I showed her her the ticket and she goes I thought that sounded high and it was obvious she did it on purpose. Second time she tries to charge me $4 dollars more. I said in a firm tone try again.. It was so obvious what was going on.as this stems from an incident over 20 years ago. Very unprofessional and rude low life help. (It was 4:15pm in a Sunday.) Only a handful of people in the restaurant, although they had a kid's party in the party room. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I was skeptical of what to order based on other reviews, so i played it safe and ordered breakfast. I had the ribeye steak and eggs, which was totally fine. Don't expect a great steak with your eggs, but it wasn't bad. They cooked my steak medium rare and hash browns extra crispy, just like I ordered. (It's shocking that I almost never get either of those cooked the way I ask.) My sun said his omelet was good too. My wife's got Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy were not so great. Better than a frozen dinner, but not a lot. I think you can count on a solid breakfast, and should just be realistic about keeping it simple here. (I bet they make a decent club sandwich too.) Not bad for a quick meal at a roadside diner.

It was a bit of a wait for our entrees to appear and when they did we were disappointed with the wait. The filet was ordered medium well and arrived seared to almost well done other than the very center was cold and red. The halibut was overcooked as well but regardless I decided to enjoy the halibut because it was still palatable. The filet, on the other hand was not. It was tough and just not very good. I fully expected to spend the money on a fine dining experience but didn't feel that experience was met. We will try Baxter again in the future with hopes of a better experience but our history there has been hit and miss!
