The menu was simple, just California burritos and fries with either chicken or carne asada. It was a bit pricey ($12.50 each), but it was worth it for the quality. The California burrito came wrapped in brown wrapping paper. It was tasty- it had crispy fries, tons of carne asada meat, fresh avocado slices, and a delicious sauce. The sauce was Mole-like and had a hint of spiciness. I've had better tasting carne asada meat, but their meat still had good flavor. Wished the carne asada had more of a grilled flavor and crispy bits. I could only finish half of the burrito. Loved the carne asada fries. They really know how to make fries. Just like the burrito, these fries were perfectly crispy. They were smothered in a delicious sauce, melted cheddar cheese, fresh avocado slices and topped with shredded cotjia cheese and minced red onion. This would be filling for a meal. We both had their Calico Jack Sandwich: A delightful combination of Creamy Mac and Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork. The sandwich was a bit messy due to the Mac and Cheese, but the abundance of pulled pork made it delicious. It came with a choice of sides; my wife enjoyed the perfectly cooked French fries - crispy outside and soft inside. The portion size was generous. I had the coleslaw, which was tasty, although the portion size seemed a bit small for the price paid. I would have expected a larger serving. The toast on the bread was some of the best I have had.
