For example, our countertop contractors were balking at how tight a radius some of the corners were planned to be, the owner of KRB got them to remove the countertops again and buy the right tooling to cut the planned corner radius. Under those circumstances, clear and consistent communication was absolutely critical. Several aspects of our experience stood out. First and foremost, the quality of the work was exceptional. The finished product is beautiful, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the entire house. Second, during the planning phase, Prime Design provided a comprehensive list of decisions we needed to make--from flooring and countertops to every light fixture and faucet. This created a clear roadmap for the project, helped us select items that complemented one another, and documented every choice along the way. As a result, there were no surprises when the project was completed. Finally, because we were still living out of state during much of the construction, regular communication was essential. He communicated with us throughout the project of installing a new Timberteck deck. His crew worked straight on through from start to finish without empty lapses of time. The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

Just had our fence installed, great work!…read more A little more info: we went through Lowe's (or was it Home Depot, it was so long ago I honestly can't remember) back in April/May. We knew it was going to be a long wait, so we were happy when we got the email that it was finally our turn for install! The three guys that did our install were very professional and worked very hard. They were here during the hottest week of August, so I give them huge props for getting everything done. They did some small bush and tree removal before the fence install. They got rid of all the debris, left the yard in great condition when they left, and most importantly, the fence looks great! We have some other projects on our dreamboats - we will definitely be contacting them again for their help!
