Upon arriving, she seemingly lacked any personality or zest for the job. She started questioning whether he was matted or not, which was very specific and I've never been questioned about. She stated he was matted and I'd need to reschedule with someone that can cut those out. As a Shepard mix with a double coat, his hair is thick and can be brushed out. I told her that he could be brushed out and every groomer in the past, at that PetSmart, had no issues. Since I was 45 minutes early I asked if I brought him out to the car and brushed the "matts" out, would she groom him. She responded that she wouldn't. Her flat out refusal to work with me, alongside her snarky smile, like she had accomplished something great by refusing to take my dog, made me cancel my other dog's grooming appointments. I won't be back and I absolutely recommend not taking your dog to Karla. It took me 10 minutes to brush out his hair.

In keeping the faith, we have a brand new yard which cost a lot of mo way to get restored, and I'm trusting that the Zamzows product line will make this new investment thrive. I've interacted with a few of the staff, and I make no bones about being nervous of ensuring the yard will last. They've all been very helpful and understanding of my needs and concerns. If the cleanliness of a restroom is any indication on how well the rest of the store is, I would have to come to the conclusion that this store wouldn't be a good place to take your pet for anything related to health and grooming!!!! I've seen outhouses cleaner than this restroom was! As we were checking out a couple of men emerged from the office area, I made a complaint with them before we left. She was defensive and unnecessarily rude when I simply asked about the return policy. I ended up leaving nearly $200 worth of plants at the store because I was so unhappy with how the situation was handled, and I still have not received a refund. This experience did not feel consistent with the customer service I've come to expect from Zamzows. I would absolutely shop at Zamzows again, just not at this location.
