Starting with the uncomfortable bed which you can feel the springs on the mattress. As far as housekeeping is concerned, it is not done regularly like most hotels. You have to request it the day before. Even when you request it, they don't come. We had to request clean towels at the front desk because they never came to our room. Never tried their breakfast as this place doesn't look clean enough for me to eat whatever they had. To top it off, I totally understand marijuana is legal but I shouldn't have to smell it when I'm walking towards my room. This place looks like a shelter than a hotel. Do extensive research if you're visiting your college kid b4 booking here because this place is just not good.

I got the key, went into the room, and it wasn't a handicap room. It was a regular room with twin beds. #3He then opened his computer and got us a room with a king bed but not a handicap room. As I stated, he kept saying he could not get into the computer, but he actually could. Now, in the room, the floor was so filthy that the bottoms of our feet were black from walking on the floor. Have photos of both our feet to show. I used a washcloth to wipe the floor, and it came away dirt-black. Took it to the desk and showed it to them. No comment from the person. Went back to the room and cleaned a path from our bedsides to bathroom #4 Next morning, went to the desk and asked about the handicap room I had booked { the reason I needed a handicap room is I had a left ankle replaced in January and a heart procedure in August}; she said it was coming up. I asked if we could have it, and she said yes, but not till it was cleaned. She said okay, but it would not be ready for three to four hours. I asked if she could put it first, and she said no because there is a routine that would not be broken. #5 When we got back a few hours later, and Jim was back on duty in a much better attitude, we moved into the handicap, and I could shower. Checked the floor and counter tey were just as black and dirty as the other room. We placed towels on the floor where we had to stand and walk. Hoping I would not get an infection in my wound where I had my ankle replaced. #6 I have never been in such a filthy hotel anywhere as this one. Actual i I never saw any type of mop or any tool to clean the floors on the cart they carried to clean the rooms with.

I wound up here because I was on the road, it was late, I was tired, and a Days Inn is usually a good value. This one isn't. It overpriced and underperforming. The carpet in the corridors is the first clue that you picked the wrong place, but my room was good sized. The "art" consisted of posters stuffed into frames. The bathroom was old (when was the last time you saw three knobs in a bathtub?) but it was very clean. There are no appliances. A sparse continental breakfast is served in what was once a full service restaurant. At least the breakfast area is clean and appears to have recently been refreshed. I've stayed in worse places than this but also paid less. Unless you're falling asleep at the wheel (like I was) keep going,

We stayed in a suite with a sitting room. Both rooms had large TVs and comfortable furnishings. There were soft colors and beautiful wallpaper. The bathroom was up-to-date with granite counters, tile floors and a rain shower fixture. Continental breakfast was included and perfect to start the day. We will definitely stay here again.

We were getting ready for bed and noticed the white powder. We have used this ourselves for pest control . It's called diatmecous earth . We've been started to inspect the bedding and found live bedbugs behind the bed and and sides , also bed bug skin and poop . We immediately gathered the children and what things we had in the room and garbage bags and checked out. We told them they have bedbugs and it's pretty obvious they are aware because they laid the white powder down and still continue to book the room. They told us they would give us a refund and they never did. We stay July 15, 2023.

The coat rack was rusted and had miscellaneous paint stains. If I could give zero stars I would. Stay elsewhere.

But it's not overpowering and you get used to it. There was no hairdryer or facial tissues provided in the room (I need both often) so that's my only real ding. A couple of things need work like the bathroom light fixture that was hanging outside of its socket and the room curtain that was clipped together to hold it shut. But it had a fridge and brand new utensils in the drawer. The room was clean and quiet.

A picnic table on the back great lawn and free continental breakfast with very good coffee. The housekeeping staff were always around and checking in to see if we needed anything. The place is immaculate. We arrived early this past Sunday morning and had the privilege of meeting Lori who is the desk clerk. She was nothing but kind, overly friendly and extremely helpful. I need to also mention Linda who helped set up my reservations. You just do not get this level of service at other hotel brands, I know for a fact. All businesses have ups and downs but to read a review here that's not to my liking says that person doesn't even like themself! I will be making this location my go to hotel when I come up from Long Island to visit my Daughter at Fredonia school of music. I want to add the rooms were spacious and included brand new updates including refrigerator with huge freezer. Beds comfy and rooms spotless. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who needs lodging in the Fredonia/Dunkirk areas. The staff makes for the best stay when it comes to hospitality.
