A typical Duncan donuts. They ask what you want before you are in the door. Not afraid to give you a stale donut.

Believe the other reviews. 3/4 of the donuts we bought were stale. Anywhere else would be better

We enjoyed picking four (or five?) selections of apples, which were ripe for gathering. Small & sweet orchard. Typical for similar orchards in the area. Porter potties available on premises. No indoor bathrooms. Every person entering the orchard must purchase a $16 bag of apples. The bag is TINY (1/2peck, which is around 6-7 small/medium apples), so I would not return to this farm for this price. No bags, strollers, or pets allowed in the orchard, when you're picking your own produce. Everything you pick must go in the tiny bags you purchase. You will be checked/patted down upon exiting, which is a bit excessive. Taking off stars for the orchard monitoring staff attitude and treatment of customers. Orchard Staff were harried and stressed, so interacting with them was not a friendly or welcoming experience. Very transactional and impatient approach, which is not the vibe you should set if you want to create a wholesome, family experience. Pumpkins, soil, mulch, and mums are sold in the store. Tons of baked goods, jellies, and produce are available for purchase. Baked goods (pies, quiches, crumbles, cookies, doughnuts, and cookies) always fly off the shelf--when we got the store, the staff were stacking the shelves with boxes, and two hours later, almost everything was sold.

I grew up 10mins from Dr Davies and had never been so it was about time! Dr Davies opens at 10am for apple picking - we got there around 11:30am so we had to park in the field across the road but they have many parking attendants/crossing guards around to help guide you. Our group was 4 adults, a dog and a baby so we did the group admission rate for the orchard which was $62 for a half bushel. Otherwise, it would've costed $17 per person for a half peck bag. We decided it was better to do the group rate and it was more than enough apples for all of us! (Oh yes, forgot to mention that unlike many other orchards, you can bring your dog!) The staff is here is very very helpful. Once you buy your bag for the orchard, they give you direct you where to go. There's plenty of staff along the way from the entrance to the back of the orchard where we went. There will always be someone there to guide you in the right direction! I've been to other places and they just let you go without any direction so this was nice. Once we arrived at the section that was open for picking, we were apple to choose from a number of apple trees - macs, macoun, gala, and golden delicious (not many of these ). Golden delicious were pretty high up on the tree - you could purchase a pole picker for an additional fee. I think it was $5. After Apple picking, we went back to the front to the little market and bought some maple candies and apple cider donuts. I'm not usually a fan of apple cider donuts but these were SOOO good. All in all, it was a fun day - I definitely recommend coming here! Next time I'll take more pics to share.

We decided to check out Dr. Davies Farm Stand which is also home to Red Barn Cidery. It's a massive farm with plenty of seating, food trucks, live music, apple picking, pumpkin picking, tractor rides, produce store, and more. The workers have this down to a science because despite it being so busy, everything from parking to grabbing donuts & cider, to the lines for other activities were so seamless. We got the Cider Donut Draft which honestly, I was not happy with. It had a strong taste of cloves and maybe cinnamon. It wasn't pleasant to sip on, and as an FYI, they are all alcoholic. I wish we had gotten the flight. It's not listed or mentioned anywhere but I did notice a lot of people with them (unfortunately after I had already ordered). The Apple Cider Donuts come in a bag of 6. Despite them just sitting on the counters, they were quite fresh, lightly sweet, and tasty. I wish you could order 1-2 at a time as 6 is excessive unless you're coming with family or a few friends. The bottle of Fresh Apple Cider was super crisp, tart, and refreshing. It didn't have the real feel of a farm but it was still an affordable and enjoyable experience!

I repeated myself many times so that he wouldn't give me the wrong drink. When my order was up he handed me an ice coffee which I said I didn't want. I asked him if he could remake the drink to the original one which I described various times that I wanted and he told me no. He said that he could give me a refund. Now what my biggest issue is that it wasent his money or busines. When you make a mistake in someone's order you should make it right. He instead gave me an attitude so I left. If you can't even correct a simple mistake and have an attitude you should not be employed with this company because it looks bad. customers service is how businesses stay operationa.

Here is the complicated request I made to the person behind the counter: A hot medium-size coffee, light with half & half, no sugar. Also, 10 munchkins of assorted flavors from the four munchkin bins. That's it. First thing he does is get the munchkins. I'm watching as he takes 10 pieces from one bin and puts them in the bag. I asked him why he didn't do as requested and mix the flavors, so he went back and substituted 5 from one other bin. I decided not to pursue that any further. Next, the light coffee with H&H, no sugar. After his demonstration of excellence with the munchkins I took nothing for granted. When he gave it to me I removed the lid and was greeted by coffee with literally a few drops of cream. I called him back over and reminded him nicely that I had asked for a light coffee with half & half. He took it back, and when he returned he gave me a cup which was about 2/3 full. I asked where is the rest of the coffee? I finally got what I ordered. I sat down at a table and opened the bag of munchkins. The glazed ones were fine, but the chocolate ones were about the size of marbles! It was like they were snatched from the munchkin baby nursery. I certainly wasn't going to go back to the counter, but at least now my experience here was complete. Having a coffee and doughnut is supposed to be relaxing. I will never again go to this location.

It was 5 adults and we all bought the medium size advertised at $1.49. I had my brother pay for it and he came back to the car to tell us he was charged $9.16. That is the price for the medium large. So, we both went back into the convenience store and question the cashier a young male and he started arguing with us and trying to confuse us with the prices and he involved another customer that seemed to be his friend and he was also rude to us for no reason. We were not rude, or yelling or arguing just asking clarification about the prices. Well, at the end he said he was not going to explain to us or change anything that that's the price and he didn't care what the sign says, and laughed in our faces. You know like the saying says "it takes two to tango" and we were not going to argue with him or anybody else. We felt he wasn't acting normal so we left. If Speedway has changed the prices change the signs, that's all . Otherwise, is either false advertisement or the cashier is confused about the prices or God knows what. It sounds like a frugal complaint , but no, this is not about the money -it's about the way we were treated. I am 70 yrs old and I question what has become of customer service and respect and honesty? Thank you.
