Listen. My youngest son has been waxing poetic about the coffee at Dunkin' for years. And, I've ignored and mostly rolled my eyes and probably muttered something like, 'kids! psh!'. Then I was in an airport and it was the only coffee option and ya girl needed coffee like someone stranded in the desert needs water. It was an absolute necessity. So, I ordered one of their seasonal lattes, thinking--let's hope I can get through this to get the caffeine flowing. But, wait... It was actually pretty good. So, I got back to Milwaukee and insisted my husband also try one of their seasonal lattes the week before Christmas. He tried to ignore and definitely rolled his eyes. And, may have muttered something like, 'seriously?! psh!' Then we stopped by here. We both ordered one of their seasonal lattes (yum!) and I got a breakfast sandwich (also yum!) and my husband got some sort of egg bites. There's no feeling more absurd than clunky-ordering at a well known chain where everyone there assumes you must know the drill. Because, why wouldn't you? It's Dunkin' after all?! We did not know the drill. But, I digress. Overall, it was a fine experience and definitely good to know that Dunkin' is an option when I'm out of town or at an airport and other local options aren't available. I don't think it's fair to judge the place based on how they handle Door Dash. DD and DD are definitely an imperfect pairing. From what I've seen, the employees here are fine, the problems are all the way Dunkin' who-no-longer-has-donuts-to-their-name is run. First and most important for our planet, they insist on disposable everything, even for people having coffee in. If you bring in your own cup, they will waste one of theirs to "measure." Lots of unnecessary unrecyclable plastic. The place is relatively clean in front, but you can easily see in the back that they don't regularly wash hands, wear hair covering, mask up (but they will God Bless each other when sneezing, American Christians baffle me), or avoid putting fingers inside cups. These shortcomings are most certainly not unique to this location, or even for coffee places in general. The coffee here is better than McDonalds, Starbucks, or Kwik Trip which are your other nearby choices. read more

The customer service is terrible. I asked for sweet cold foam and they declined. I then asked to add a sandwich to my order and they declined saying they were so busy. I have never seen more than one car here. Regardless, they should not decline someone's order. They did not even attempt to compromise until we threatened to cancel our order. They really make it seem like a chore to do their job! Iced coffee is always terrible, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but they never follow through. This is supposed to be an egg & cheese bagel. It looks like an old gray dog turd. I used the drive through and was greeted by a very melancholy voice that really didn't want to be working. I ordered 2 sandwiches and a coffee. When I got to the window I apologized and asked to add a coffee as I forgot one. The girl rolled her eyes and sighed. I always drive an extra distance to go to this Dunkin' in Waukesha instead of the one on Sunset and so far they haven't let me down. They're food is always warm and tastes fresh. The workers have been very quick and kind. They clarified an order mistake before we even said anything and they were calm and understanding with the situation. They're coffee is a hit or miss for my taste but they're refreshers and hash browns are so good! read more

I was very unhappy with dunkin today, which breaks my heart because I love and support dunkin. While ordering over the intercom during the drive through, after every item I said, the lady asked "are you done yet?" It just made me feel rushed and that she was trying to move me along. My order was a little long, but I am a paying customer. When I asked for a sausage egg and cheese croissant, she said they were out of croissants. When I ordered a Boston cream donut, she said they were all out. When I asked for two sausage egg and cheese wake up wraps, she said they were out of sausage. I ended up ordering a sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin, a large coffee, 2 egg and cheese wake up wraps, and 2 hashbrowns. I did not receive the hashbrowns and they put bacon on the English muffin. When I ordered that in the beginning and she said no more sausage at the end, It didn't cross my mind so she took it upon herself to apply bacon to it instead. When I get home, this is what I see. A "sandwhich" just thrown into the bag and falling apart and a weird looking wake up wrap that looks like it was squeezed in someone's hand. They got the latte wrong, the sandwich was cold and they only had 1 avocado toast to offer us. I asked if I could get reimbursed for the other toast, and they said they could offer a bagel with avocado on it or double toast a frozen piece of bread instead, but was not able to reimburse or give a gift card for the $5 toast. The manager never came to discuss with us, so we decided to just leave without ever getting the correct order. This should have been a very simple thing for a manager to correct. Things continue to go downhill at this location. Drive thru is no less than a 20 minute wait time and hope you get what you ordered. Bad attitudes, less than adequate safety protocols. The place looks dirtier every time I give it another chance. Rarely get what I actually order. Don't have the time to go in or wait in the drive thru again. Kwik Trip is right next door, lots of choices and friendly people. If they don't have what you are looking for, it's free when they replenish it usually within 2 minutes! Recent DD visit ordered the "NEW" lemonade refresher: strawberry flavor - medium. Drive thru pickup (amazingly there was only a 17 minute time lapse). Got to window the unmasked, ungloved employee says what did you order? We don't have any paper to print the mobile orders. Told her, medium strawberry lemonade refresher with light ice. She asks, is that with coconut milk? UGH! Finally she gets it, says we don't have and strawberry left. OK, I'll take blueberry. With all this confusion, the thing I was expecting was to get a large for the inconvenience and trouble. Bad service, bad attitudes not enough people during peak traffic times. Come owner........don't be cheap by understaffing and overworking your people. That's why nobody wants to work here, the chatter we can all hear when we order. I came here 9/3/2021 around 11:30am and there was only 1 poor employee working! She was working so hard running every aspect of the restaurant. Drive thru, making coffee, making food, bagging orders, and taking in store orders! Despite this my coffee and sandwich were delicious. This woman deserves a raise. I understand the food service industries are short staffed and it's hard to have the necessary staff on, so in return for this lady's hard work and effort she deserves to be compensated. Especially since she was extremely friendly the entire time when most people would show their stress from a situation like this through frustration. I don't know her name, but I know she had 2 nose piercings if my memory serves me correct. I hope the staff at this Dunkin sees this. You guys work so hard, just know there are people out there who appreciate you! Without food service employees we would not have tasty, fast food and coffee so easily at our fingertips. Once again, please give this girl and the other employees a raise. If they have to work when it's understaffed they DESERVE compensation. And for any customers that may be reading this... please have patience with service industry employees. Be kind. I promised I'd go back and try this again, after my less than exciting coffee I had here last week. Well, I'm suitably impressed. If you didn't happen to see my review of DD coffee in Woodstock, Illinois, I had this to say: " I would categorize DD coffee as a medium blend with several complex flavors to it, not easily identified. I would almost say it has cloves in it, but it could be something else that resembles cloves. There's a hint of chocolate in it, too. (And it was better than the DD coffee I had last week.) I can see how people have come to regard this as their favorite coffee." Well, the same applies at the Waukesha store, in fact, the coffee might be a little more flavorful in Waukesha, due to the excellent water that is uniquely Waukesha's own. (Did you know that Waukesha was once known as "The Saratoga of the West" for it's mineral waters and spas? And that Waukesha was home of bottling companies that sent Waukesha water all over the country? That's all gone, but the water is still as good as it ever was.) read more

Came at beginning of June. Both iced coffees tasted like water. Tried to get anything in replace of the two coffees that tasted like water. Employee stated she couldn't make anything but what I ordered (I get it I wasn't trying to get double what I paid) politely went back and fourth even asked for a small lemonade.. anything employee wouldn't make anything despite me spending 7$ not sure how no other drink was a similar amount. Arrived an hour after they open just to be greeted by a locked door. Waited outside for another 15 minutes and saw no movement whatsoever, although the lights are all on etc. just watched a guy leave the drive thru looking irritated as well. I won't even try again based on the other reviews people have left about this location. I'll happily wait for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and take my business to Donut Squad in downtown Waukesha. Way better donuts and way better service. More consistency as well! This experience has turned me off of DD entirely. No loss for me! read more

This morning was not great and I wasn't really all that surprised. I get a frozen vanilla spice or called a frozen vanilla chai with powder blended in ice and milk. Every time I go to this location it's a guessing game. Someone tells me they don't make that drink and a day later I get the drink. This morning was one of these days. Two days ago I ordered my drink nice and fine went along my merry way. Now today the girl told me "we don't make that drink anymore." So I asked her do you have the powder? She replied yeah and I said then why can't you make it. All she had to say to me was we don't make that drink. Now I'm not sure if this is pure laziness or out of pure lack of training. Either way ordering coffee should not be a guessing game. I drove over to the sunset location and guess what? "You said that was a medium right?" Transaction over and a happy customer. Do NOT waste your time stopping at this location. I've always been 2nd or 3rd in line when I have arrived at this location and it is ALWAYS slow. Today in particular was terrible. The lady in front of me and myself waited for almost 5 minutes before anyone said anything to us. Not a whole lot of urgency as the employees were casually conversing with each other and other patrons in line. The lady packing donuts would disappear for a bit and come back. When it was my turn to order I had to wait almost 5 minutes before I was acknowledged and the people were just walking around in front of me. When I finally received my food it was thrown on the counter. Not figuratively, she actually tossed it on the counter without saying a single word to me then walked away. I love Dunkin' Donuts coffee, but this place is the most disheveled, disorganized coffee shop I've ever seen. I was glad when the app let me order in advance and pickup to avoid the long lines that are due to disorganization, but the two times I've done that my coffee is not even started when I arrive. It doesn't matter if that's 5 min later or 15 min later. This place is also filthy - there is trash laying all over behind the counter (used gloves, used napkins or paper towels, and on the floor. We stopped at the Dunkin on Grandview this morning. My boys wanted a pumpkin donut. We went inside, waited for a while and finally got the attention of the one employee. She told us she couldn't help us for a while because she was the only person working and was taking care of the drive thru before inside. Super rude attitude. The only thing consistent about this awful place is the terrible service. Every time I come here I get an eye roll, deep sigh, and even complaints about how they hate working here. If I could give this Dunkin' Donuts location zero stars, I would. Had one of the worst customer service experiences I can remember and would never return. Waited 30 minutes for a small, simple order. After telling me the total bill of my order, the cashier left the tender, completely disappeared, and never returned to assist me with my payment. Meanwhile, a huge fight broke out amongst the staff in the kitchen. Screaming profanities and racial slurs, the staff managed to scare away the few customers left in the building. While already understaffed, one of the employees stormed out of the restaurant, leaving only 2 staff members. After watching everyone else receive their orders before mine, I then had to ask about my order that I had already been waiting 15 minutes for. It was not until then that they began my order. The drive thru person is taking orders and making hot food and a counter employee taking walk-in customers and grabbing donuts. If I wasn't in a hurry I would be ticked. Extremely inconsistent. And consistency is what makes great customer service and experiences. I stop by this location a lot of the times on my way to work as it is right off 94. Every time I go there I ask for the same coffee drink and it is made differently. Also I have waited a few times in the drive through for about 10-15 minutes when there are only a few cars in front of me. Depending where I work I go to other locations and get better service, wish this location would step up there game as they could have great potential and a lot more business. read more

I'm not going to invest too much time into a dunkin donuts review, after all, it' just Dunkin Donuts. However I like that they've added a variety of other food. Nobody wants to eat donuts until their full, that's just a terrible feeling (both emotionally and physically). However, I'll enjoy a nice donut with a bacon egg and cheese wrap up on occasion. I've explored the lunch menu a little. I had high hopes for the fried chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun..but the bun had no flavor and was a little on the toasted side. I have been sitting here waiting for a sandwich for 30 min. I have gone up a few times and they said " it's in the oven". I have heard them call peoples orders out that ordered the same thing as me "Dunkin double sausage". I am not sure why my sandwich is taking so long. Horrible customer service. Just went up and asked again why it's taking so long and they never put the order in. I have asked 3 times and no one actually put the order in any of the times.
